salykely: What about the Hausa man who was roasted by Igbo youth? No one is condemning this retaliatory attacks. No one is telling Igbo people what they did to poor hausa families who have lived in their mist is bad! All I keep hearing in this forum from SE extract is hailing of the governor who even went further to inaugurate an inglorious ethnic militia that will help in killing Hausa/Fulani people in case of crises. A governor who have decided to profile Hausa/Fulani within his domain. Let everyone keep in record the attitude and response of this governor to this incident. If Kano alone should respond in like stupidity, the entire SE won't have the resources to accommodate the in flow of Igbo refugees. In civilized countries, those who burnt that hausa man to death would be brought to justice. The man was not sentenced to death, he was not allowed to defend himself in a court of law. He was killed by Igbo mob without hearing his own side of the story. Until death, the law of his land presumed him innocent. **** Just yesterday my friend was telling me Fulanis killed a king in Kaduna. I will create a thread for that when I get home. **** |

If its so legal, why are you guys fighting so desperately for it?? Aboki dey do advert?? Explain it to another person o. lol... You are funny. Firstly, I am not a forex trader but I know enough beyond basics such that if I want to delve into it tomorrow, I know what to do. Seun gains a lot from the collective knowledge of every member who empower other through what they share. I remember contacting mukina2 to delete one of my old thread. Guess what I was told? I was technically begged to let the thread stay because of the wealth of information which other could gain from. Why did they begged me to let my thread stay? Same reason they gave is same reason why I do not want the ban. I guess that answers your question. You have no idea how huge forex is, let a lot the combined volume being traded everyday such Nigeria's budget for the next 20 years can not match. Bank engage in forex. Anything that to do with with trading and exchange of currencies in the cause of such venture is forex trading. It does not have to be those who sit behind their pc. During the ban on use of ATM outside Nigeria, you have no idea how much people made. Those who had the volume were make millions per hour, exchanging naira for dollar with Nigerian students across the world. Siddon dia make sokoto wear u. |

davide470: Hey bro, Yeah, hope you are great
I am not saying FX-Trading is illegal, it is just the way it is being protrayed or advertsied on Nairaland like a Get-Rich-No-Loss Scheme. Bro, it's same with everything in this country. We will always have them around as long as money is involved. It's man eat man out there. I know a guy who is into importation that buy a fake product for $1 from China and he sells them for 9500 naira. Information marketers are not left out. They feed your mind with what you wanna see with bogus claims of how you make money online blah blah... There is another one here on nairaland who claim to teach importation BUT I know he hasn't recorded much success like some of the top dogs of that niche. It's everywhere bro... we will ALWAYS have those that will keep scream: "Get Rich Quick, Or Die Trying" but you know the funniest thing about the people that do this? They aren't the pro. In fact the pro hardly have time for such. I have taught domain selling ( website URL selling), I know it like the back of my hand with thousands of dollars made from it and prove to show for it. BUT since 2013 I have never created a single thread asking people to buy my ebook. However, a guy who even contacted me to ask a few questions has created thread on same subject gathering people and claiming he knows a lot. But does it mean there aren't people making it with this thing? Certainly there are. I remember when I was serving and they hadn't paid us allowee and I had NOTHING on me. While talking to manweysabi (that's his nairaland handle) and I just told him bro, this is my condition o. We haven't been paid. He told me to send my account number and he dropped 5k for me out his forex trading proceeds and he learnt everything from nairaland. Imagine if there was no place to learn it in the first place, could he have helped me? Do you see why the forex threads is good? All those asking the clamp down have no idea what forex is all about, many of them are those that have tried it with GREED, got their fingers burnt and turned around to claim it's fraud. Bro, things like this is no different from going to the University. Yes, it takes years to master. rozayx5 is another trader whom I am very close to. He TOLD me it took him 3 good years before he could start seeing positive results in his trading. But others will who just started wants to start making money INSTANTLY. Forex isn't for someone who lacks patient or is emotionally unstable because under such state, you can't think clearly. There are parameters used to determine price direction. People should just stick to what works for them. In the words of Robert Kiyosaki: "Never Invest in what You Don't Understand" I use that rule every time and it helps me a lot. Another word is: "what you learn is what you earn" If you learn something wrongly and you apply it wrongly, you will always have a wrongful result. It's that simple. |

The grave injustices against the southerners by the northerners in this country is the major cause of all this negative actions. lets wait and see how it will play out but we all know its going to be worse as you usual, this what you lots will often come up with. Guys stop pretending you don't know how it all ends. Because you benefit from it means its okay, that's the problem in Nigeria.
Nairaland is neither a bank nor an aboki joint.
Who told you nairaland is what people use to trade forex? Nairaland only an avenue where information is shared. Then the sextuality section should be banned. The romance section should be banned. The business section should be shut down... because people are still looking for their 400million which nairaland was used to scam innocent folks, they even moved the thread that caused this to the front page. Is it your money they are using to trade or what alternatives do you have for them? Abeg go siddon jor. Just because you failed at something does not mean it is scam.. it simply means you don't know what you are doing. I used the bank and abooki as analogy to drive home my point because its not so different from what is obtainable by those who use trading platforms. If Seun is in doubt, they have thrown in a challenge for him... but did he take it? There are people who are willing to take up the challenge and proof forex is not scam but the ignorance of people is what is causing problem. Forex is exchange of currencies... what does the abooki do? they sell naira to you and buy your dollar. Dude go siddon abeg. |

davide470: Maybe you need to read my comment again.. or let me just summarize it for you:
You asked what is illegal about FX-Trading, remember?.. Nothing. It is the way it is portrayed on Nairaland that is illegal.
If HYIP's et FX-Trading adverts becomes 'not-acceptable' on Nairaland, it only takes a bot about some milliseconds to mark as SPAM keywords classified under the said matter, thereby clearing the Investment section and leaving our NSEMPA alone
Ok, bye bye.. Davo, sup bro. It's been a while. If you classify Forex as illegal, what will you call that business that the abookis do? What will you call what banks do? Come on, you are more smarter than this. |

They throw blows with full force swing the punch from left to right or right to left. You must do everything possible to dodge their punches and while the punch the air, due to the force with which the punch, they lose balance, stagger cos u dodged it. It then makes it easier to swerve in swiftly, give the dude as many blows as you can before he regain his balance. |

Domaining is a business that require a huge chunk of using your brain and honestly, research is everything.
Most people wonder why their names are not selling and I wish to make you understand why.
If your domain name does not make sense, it probably wouldn't sell. There has to be possible usage for every name you own, mostly for business or branding purpose.
How do you know a good name? A good domain name explain itself without your presence.
For Instance:
Among the names I have sold this year, let me use just three to buttress my point.
CaliforniaEggDonors.com was for $999
BeachWorkOut.com was for $450
USGreenEnergy.com $750
If you look closely, these domain names "tell stories" They are sending a meaningful "message" to anyone who stumble on them. An image flashes your mind on seeing them. Honestly, if no mental picture forms in your mind for a domain you own, it probably would be same thing for anyone you are "hoping" would buy. |

The article referred to bandits and cattle rustlers, and never mentioned Fulani herdsmen.
Nairaland which aims to promote peace and unity should be the last forum allowing such divisive, provocative and mischievous acts which makes it more difficult to contain the challenge. I implore the mods to fix the misleading title.
Cc; Seun lalasticlala Mynd44. You should know many of the mods suffer from same syndrome that has plagued many Nigerians which is difficulty to READ details. Pathetic. They put anything and everything on frontpage. |
