He made wonderful passes to the opponent in his last game!

The team's playing style is to keep possession of the ball.

A large chunk of blame goes to the midfield for not placing themselves in good positions to receive passes of the ball.
A midfield that will lose the ball because they cannot handle themselves in tight spaces. hence the concomitant back passes in order to keep possession of the ball.

Awaziem's pass was intelligently intercepted because the opponent read us well, it doesn't make Awaziem's passes of the ball poor.

We need midfielders who can receive passes from the defenders and find a way to not only locate the forwards, but also support them as they break down the opposition.

Still waiting for CAF to decide though. FIFA recently increased Africa representatives from 5 to 10 for U17 world cup. Likely the four semifinalist from the WAFU zone may qualify for U17 AFCON instead of the two finalist. CAF will decide

Zellas:

Go and rewatch that match, over 80% of Awaziem's passings are backwards which led to one of the Malian goals.

The invited defenders is simply not balanced, but let's give Finidi a benefit of doubt and pray he doesn't make a costly mistake at this point.

We need good midfielders that will help ease the pressure on the defenders to sustain possession of the ball.

Somebody somewhere will be swearing for Ghana FA right now. What kind of rubbish pitch is this. I stand to be corrected but this is the same pitch Ghana used for their match not long ago. What kind of rubbish is this for God's sake?

The bold is a figment of your imagination, everything is untrue.

Ademola made it clear at age 16 he wanted to play for Nigeria but was rejected in the screening organised in London for the NFF.

He played his last game for England U21 in 2019 and made it intrinsically clear he wanted to play for Nigeria. But it took the NFF several years to complete the due diligence required to complete change of allegiance with FIFA.
lies won’t get you anywhere

Osimhen will remain in Napoli next season. No offer yet!

No wonder Napoli President dey vex for Victor in one of his intterview! lol!
Agreed to pay Vic 10m annually with the hope of getting 120m in return. Huge gamble that might not pay off.

Osimhen will get 20m in two years and leave for free next summer! lol

He thought he is smart rejecting several offers for Vic last summer now offer don dry up. lol!
Many top teams spent big on strikers last summer and not willing to spend a lot on another this summer!

He has been played by a Naija boy!
the only club that I think may be willing to spend that huge amount of money is Chelsea, most clubs outside England are broke, PSG have 2 high profile strikers already and the big clubs in England don’t really need a striker. I also believe he may not move this summer

TheSuperNerd:

Diaz played 31 la liga games and came from the bench 13 times. He started only 18 games. He averaged 51mins per game. How is that starter or influence material?

Lookman played 29 Serie A games, starting 20 of them and averaging an hour per game.

In the European Competitions, it is far worse.

Below is Lookman in the UEL 23/24 vs Diaz in UCL 23/24. EOD.

Because he just joined the team and needed to blend. However, the guy started starting after fews from the beginning of the season as expected.

So, trying to say he was not crucial to Madrid's success in Laliga is false.

If Diaz should score hattrick in the final, o ti lo.

Although we had the better chance to score, the Ivorians have been tactically superior!

The Ivorians look fitter and wanted it more, winning 90% of the 50-50 balls.

I do not understand why the boys are not pressing the Ivorian defense often! The few time they did we almost scored!
