One of the solutions to this is to separate the league into conferences. Like Northern and Southern conference. Then the top two teams will battle for the final trophy.

The long term plan of English FA is intrinsically linked with the football clubs there is synergy and convergence.

So the coaching strategy and plan's are carried out by the clubs not the England youth coaches. They come to camp with their attributes not to learn but to contribute their unique skills sets and abilities.

The national youth team coaches job is to make the team cohesive, joined up and with the adopted playing style and strategy.

The English FA had a long term strategic plan. Now English players are now among the most technically gifted players not just kick and follow players as they used to be.
