You may have what we call tension headaches.
Try aceclofenac plus paracetamol 1 tablet morning and night for 7 days. Take it with meals.
Plus Neurovite forte 1 capsule daily for 2 weeks.
Thank you doc

Hi,
I suspect your baby has what is called cradle cap which is normal. Does the skin feel flaky?. It is rare to have infected cradle cap. You can use olive oil on the scalp or alternatively try sudocream.
Thanks doc, it's cradle cap I just Google it, I will use baby shampoo and Olive oil. thanks

Hi
It means you have an infection of your urogenital tract. Probably epididymo-orchitis.
It is difficult to interpret lab results in isolation. You also need to include clinical details for comprehensive interpretation

Hi,
It depends what you mean by warts and a picture would be useful. Are you referring to Molluscum contagiosum?. Mosaic wart? Simple warts?. Depending on the numbers, treatment includes cryotherapy, salicylic acid (months of treatment required). You may also need sexual health screen if unprotected intercourse

.. thanks Doc. I'm grateful for your prompt response. Are there specialist for the treatment for the genital warts here in Nigeria? Where can I get the salicylic acid?

Hi,
Not sure about specialist treatment in Nigeria as I don’t practice in Nigeria. But if you ask around you should be able to get hold of salicylic acid or cryotherapy/nitrogen freezing.

Hi,
By clinical details, I meant you should state why you have the test done in the first place.
It shows you have a higher number of non motile sperm. You need to treat the infection first. Staphylococcus is less of an issue as it is probably normal skin contaminant when you produced the sample.
You need to treat the e.coli with antibiotics. the question is, 1) is this coming from a UTI or STI. Difficult to tell but treatment is similar regardless. You also need to submit urine sample for MC&S
If the reason for the test is inability to conceive, you might also need Scrotal Doppler ultrasound scan

Yea the test for inability to convince, and you might to right about that staphylococcus because my wife own was negative and I was like why since we have been living together for a while.

As for the urine, he said it was fine,it's in the result but he said something like pulse cells

What's the best way to get the ecoli treated, the pharmacist said she will inject me for 5days then i will start taking tablets.

See a Dermatologist or a Plastic surgeon(if the warts are so large as may require surgical excision). The size and number determine the most appropriate treatment modality.

I don't understand what the other guy meant by "I'm not sure of specialist treatment in Nigeria..." That sounds derogatory.

There are numerous Dermatologists and Plastic surgeons practicing in Nigeria.
The only problem is Nigerians don't know who is who, and do not care, when compared to patients abroad.

I don’t personally know of any specialists in Nigeria or anyOther specialist treatment of the condition in Nigeria. Meaning am not sure if Nigeria has different treatment plans from what am used to.
Not sure how that could be misconstrued as derogatory

Hi
Based on the sensitivity of the antibiotics. You actually don’t need IV antibiotics. You can take oral antibiotics with good oral bioavailability and still achieve the same outcome with IV/IMeg ciprofloxacin (shows slight sensitivity)

Asking for a friend.

He started noticing bumps on his penis and rashes on his thigh .These comes with itching around the genital and the thigh

He want to complain to a pharmacist who diagnosed him with herpes prescribing virest but the bumps are much more.
Mind you he doesn't have any sexual history.

Someone lately told him that it is a skin infection.

What can he do

Hi,
Rashes are best diagnosed from pictures or face to face. Difficult to say for certain without seeing picture.
Things to consider in narrowing the diagnoses include
1) how long has the rash been there for. What colour is it
2) is the rash raised or flat? Can you see yellow fluid like vesicles?
3) where on the thigh is the rash? I.e inside or outside the groin
4) Any fever?
5) Does the rash ooze when scratched?
6) does he suffer normally from skin conditions
7) Any recent changes in soaps/creams
cool is the rash anywhere else

Hi,
Picture not clear but from the location of the rash, it looks like either acne vulgaris or acne rosacea.
Which medications are you currently on?
Noticed anything that makes the rash worse?
Noticed it anywhere else?
Any joint pain? Fever?
Family history of autoimmune disease eg lupus?

Thanks for the reply and I hope you can get a clear view of it? On the contrary, I don't get a rash or joint pain or fever, just the yellow spots that's all..

Hi,
The new picture appears to be pityriasis alba. If not bothering you much, use emollient creams. If bothering you eg intense itching, you can try mild steroid eg 0.5% hydrocortisone. Use only a little bit (1 finger tip) and avoid contact with your eyes or mouth

My last period was 11 June 2020, I had protected sex on 27 June 2020 and 9th July 2020. My next menstrual cycle should be 9th of July 2020 but have not seen my period since then.
Have done urine pregnancy test on 14th July 2020, it was negative.
What could be responsible for the delay?

please doctors

Hi,
Sounds like your period comes every 4 weeks. Going by the dates you have given, it sounds like you probably ovulated just before your protected sex on the 27th. If fertilisation occurs, it may take up to 7 days to be detectable on urine dip but also depends on sensitivity of the dipstick.
You can repeat the test after 7 days from your last one or just do b-hcg blood test if really bothered

Hi
Things that can contribute to bad breath includes coffee, alcohol, diet, cigarette smoking. You also need to see a dentist

Thanks again sir. Right now it's not itching nor scratching me but it's turning to an issue of concern for me as it's spreading all over my face at a fast rate.. Pls be specific, what medications/ cream would you recommend for me at this point in time?
