Hi doc. I noticed when i lie down, my heart burns, minty throat sensation and stomach region ONLY gets warms like someone rubs rob on the tummy. But if i stand up, walk or sit, the tummy warmness vanishes and becomes cold but my throat will still be having this minty sensation as if i licked tomtom. This is worrisome as i dont eat well again due to state of mind. I am worried and in dilemma. What could be a lasting remedy to this? I once used Cafergot pill when i experienced an unexplained chronic headache and head-hotness which have all vanished aftrewards. I have used acid blocker (3 in 1) like ulsa kit when i first sensed this scenario. Currently, I use Natrixam 1.5/5mg for my blood pressure control OR could it be the cause? I need help o

I already mentioned the treatment of hydrocortisone if it is causing you any problems. Since you said it is not itching, you just need to use any moisturiser cream and avoid excessive sunshine. It will go away on its own after a while.

Good evening all.
Does anyone have an idea of how much it cost for Dermoid cyst removal in Nigeria and some centres with the best surgeons?
Would appreciate prompt response.

Mofetemi:I think you may have acid reflux disease. Meaning there is reflux of your stomach acid into the oesophagus causing you those symptoms. Consult with your doctor for proper assessment and treatment

Greetings Doc. I need your advice
Heading to 2 months now whenever I eat I have bloating stomach and running temperature, I have been to two different hospital and taken 2 RULOX suspension Antacid and a whole lot of drugs prescribed by doctors such as
flagl, Tab Nospa, ciprotab, omeprazole , Aiocin Tablet, Artesunate (maleria) , Orphesic
and have been to several hospitals but I get disappointed that non of this doctors understand what my problem really is, they all seems to say am okay whereby within me I know all is not going down well...
The problem is I feel rumbling in the stomach something like gas immediately I eat food or drink with a running temperature that doesn't calm down, discomfort and fullness when I eat a little food... I'm tired of this situation and is really affecting my daily living...
I did some test which shows Helicobacter P Ylori positive (Weakly)..
Stool culture Moderate growth of Escherichia Coli (normal floral).. I just did this test 3 days ago and have been taking ulcer kit but no improvement so far..

There isn’t any international consensus about how long ejaculation should take and it is governed by so many factors. Things you can do include extending pre-intimacy, satisfying your woman first, wearing less sensitive condoms and using start/stopping technique when you are able to ejaculate.

Not sure how to contextualise your question without you providing more information.
1) Bowel gas is normal as your food is digested and fermented by bacteria. Abnormal Gas in tummy can be caused by a lot of conditions including IBS, coeliac, SIBO. Treatment depends on cause
2) You can only manage insulin if you are taking insulin injection or if you are talking about PCOS if you are female. Your context isn’t clear.
3) You can’t really boost your immunity. Some think vitamin c helps. Your immune system is governed by your genes, age and exposure to previous organisms etc.
4) low blood pressure depends on the cause. How low is your bp? Are you dehydrated?. Are you taking anti hypertensives?. Do you have a problem with your adrenal glands?
5) by liver fat, are you referring to alcoholic liver disease or non alcoholic fatty liver disease?. One of the main function of the liver is to make bile salts and steroid hormones from cholesterol.
6) Blood circulation is determined by heart rate and stroke volume. Different things can affect the amount of blood pumped eg sympathetic and parasympathetic system

Doc I feel a dull pain in right side of my abdomen. It is more pronounced when I have not eaten. I feel relieved after consuming a meal. I feel no pain when I depressed the area
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by AmbulatoryMedic: 9:07pm On Jul 21
It could be a normal response to hunger. It could also be suspected peptic ulcer. Do you use tablets like ibuprofen a lot?. Have you ever committed blood or noticed blood in your stools?..
If it resolves after fully eating, it means you don’t have to worry about peptic ulcer. Your tummy can ache abit if hungry

Good evening. I took my first dose of HBV vaccine yesterday, 20 July and I was told to come back on the 10th of August for second dose. I thought it was meant to be after a month.

Where in your body is the cyst located, and for how long?
Where in Nigeria are you residing?
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by ChybuzzDD(m): 12:54pm On Jul 24
Yes, you're right.
There should be a minimum of 4weeks between the first and second doses.
Confirm if there's no error in calculating the date given to you, as 17th of August should be the exact date.
Though they can argue a week difference does not significantly matter, but protocols should be obeyed.

GOOD EVENING DR IN THE HOUSE, I NEED HELP FOR A FRIEND (30yrs old) WHO HAVE BEEN EPILETIC FOR 15YRS NOW.
he was diagnose of tonic clonic seizure in UBTH, and have been on oral carbamazepin, phenobarbiton and vit Bcomplex, but the control seems not effective as he still have like 1 or 2 epistle in a month despite compliance with drugs.
I know there is no cure , but is there anyway it can be better control or any additional drugs?
have heard of somebody taking iv injection monthly in a specialist hospital for epilepsy with good outcome of long period of seizure free. pls how true is this, as he may prefer this option instead of this daily drugs
pls experience DR in the house I need your help, as I feel for this brother. can he have relief for 6 months or more with any treatment
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by AmbulatoryMedic: 8:56pm On Jul 24
Not really. You don’t necessarily have to treat staphylococcus infection isolated from urine culture as they are mostly contaminants.
With yeast infection are you talking about oral or vagina?
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by AmbulatoryMedic: 9:00pm On Jul 24
It depends what commonly triggers the seizure. There are combination tablets that can also be used with phenobarbitals for seizure control. Never started patient in that and we only use it in the ITU due to side effects. In saying that, there are new technologies like vagal nerve stimulator etc for better epilepsy control

Vagina yeast infection.
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by AmbulatoryMedic: 7:22am On Jul 25
Miconazole should be fine but not sure about treating vagina thrush with fluconazole. Unless your immune system is weak for some reasons.
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by SugaryBelle(f): 8:44am On Jul 25
AmbulatoryMedic:OK, thank you so much .
My immune system is not weak, I'm 31 weeks pregnant. I'm thinking about postponing the treatment till after delivery since the risk of taking those drugs now seems to outweigh the benefits, the only symptom I had was a little itching, which has stopped for about 5 days now. Could not taking the treatment now affect the baby?.
