this is the problem most people have in life, replacing 'would' with 'should'. even if he's not doing it the right way, he is, at least, doing something. Not all plans are perfected before execution. This protest came out of burning desire from a less capable individual, but his incapability shouldn't necessarily write off the protest. Do what you can.

MaziOmenuko:
You see my concern with this charade? It lacks vision, mission and goal! Sounds more like a Lagos edition of Calabar Christmas Carnival. There is no proper communication, no sensitization, lack of zeal, anonymous interest from unknown groups; it just doesn't seem right.

By now there should have been a clear road-map, renown groups and people would be enlisted (not just 2phase and some internet/social-media solidarity tweets), we still don't know how many days the carnival protest would be, we are just hearing the uniform is something green. I am sure we will be getting more tweets hours to the protest on which routes to follow, were to go etc.

I don't think 2phase even has the capacity to lead a nationwide protest! Yes, the reason for protest could be justified, but yet again, if there is no clear-cut objective/plan, you are presenting yourself as a likely shooting practice for the police.

I wont be surprised the likes of Fayose and FFK will be there to hijack the rally from 2phase. Why? 2phase lacks the charisma to lead a nationwide protest.

We need to demand for a responsible govt; we the youths need to take this country out from the hands of these present class of people. We should be discussing about forming a megaparty for the youths, set an age bracket in our party constitution and team up to take back our country before these old men sabotage our future.

Oga mazi don't make it sound like dis is a joke or a waste of time... if d youths are going to take over then they hv to start somewhere, this protest is for us to voice out our grievances, to show that this government has failed us and they need to step up and if they don't hear our cry via dis protest then we the youths can go ahead to look for other ways to take back our Nigeria, but there has to be a protest first atleast to show we r not happy with their governance and tell them wat we want.

You are right,l agree with you. Also i expect that staying at a place and not making any effort to reach out isn't ideal. You can access 2face and his organising crew through social media to lend your support in anyway and watch them take your opinion. You can even support financially because placards n few oda logistics are needed. His call and agitation for good governance is laudable and he is not in anywhere personally affected,it's a clarion call.
For me,it is far better than nothing.Next after this will be an improvement till we get it right. The citizens of this great country has been so quiet and its not healthy to our democratic process.

I am in agreement with you. Rather than demand for the the above, our youths are here calling each other names, stoking ethno-religious fire, being sentimental and supporting corruption, nepotism and impunity. The present crop of youths lack the zeal to follow not to talk of leading.

it is unfortunate but our youths rather than challenge the authorities for failure of institutions and lack of infrastructure, our youths are busy stoking the embers of ethnic & religious hatred. check out various social media and read their opinion. if these embers turn to conflagrations, it will consume many irrespective of tribe, religion or natural resources. The politicians with dual citizenship and multiple visa would simply fly out, watch us kill ourselves and come back with their children to continue the pillage.

you are right! you spoke my mind...if the youths must take over as maziomenuko said, it must start from somewhere. let us first pour out our hearts to them and let them know we've had enough of their poor governance, its affecting d poor masses, its killing Nigeria.... then afterwards if nothing is still done by d government to improve, the youth can then map out strategies to take over... the protest must hold

Lol.e go surprise you wetin some mumu girls go wear go there. Them must open breast...e go make sense make oloshos too join this March o. One advice I have for the ladies, don't wear bra just in case the police or soldiers want to scatter the protest, show them breast and you will be amazed what will happen.

Even at that,d fact that any person, besides organised labor can bring out Nigerians from their state of slumber to match, trek, sing or even twerk, while showing their displeasure with governance,is a strong basis to build on.

But this can be the beginning
Do not ignore good ideas from less popular persons
Great deliverance came from little ideas
So this is a step in a good direction
You can make suggestions and also build yours where this ends. I still support your idea of a mega party let's begin by creating a group, a handle, and being to build this idea
