The gameplay is not balanced, it has some flaws that some players who know about them take advantage of it to win games, that's why pes is not taken as seriously as Fifa in the competitive scene.

Differences are that defending in 20 is easier than in 21. Jesu! The AI dey deliberately dey mumu your defenders. Attacking on the other hand is so easy.

FIFA 21 is too fast to be realistic. I thought 20 was fast but 21. Chai.

But on the other hand, 21 offers more ways to score than 20. Some PES moves like cross and nod are working fine in 21 as compared to 20.

21 is very sweet when attacking but terrible when defending. Hian!

FIFA 21 encourages manual defending, that's why many pros set their player switching to air balls or even manual and you have to use jockey alot..

The mistake many players make is using the X(contain button) too often...I did that too and I was frustrated like you until I learnt the game very well (YouTube videos)

Now I don't even use X(contain) anymore just jockey and secondary tackle when I see an opening to tackle.

It's a game of patience...new comers will have a hard time sha.

No sane person plays one style throughout a match. Especially when your opponent has started to read your moves. A game should allow you freedom to change and vary your approach.

In direct football, there's no dribbling involved. In essence, the direct play style is an attempt at moving the ball into a shooting position as quickly, and directly, as possible with the least number of passes. It's obvious you don't know that.

Offer a proper counter argument if you have any instead of resorting to ad hominem. You clearly do not know to present your points without resorting to some sort of glaring argumentative or logical error.

I played Fifa 06 on PS 1, Fifa 12 and 13 on PS 2 and FIFA 19 on PS3 and FIFA 20 on PS4.

If you don't know how to do build up play from the back, FIFA will frustrate you. A game that does not like direct football of any sort and unless you're using Mbappe, doesn't encourage one man football where you use one player to have a go at the defense. Unless of course, you've mastered skill moves and can spam them.

The gameplay style. Personally, I like Wengerball, a type of possession based style favoured by Daddy Wenger of Arsenal.

Play simple passes out from the D to the center circle. Play it out to the central striker who can hold the ball up and return it back to an attacking midfielder. The full backs should have come up to overlap, so na to ping the ball out wide for them.

My full backs are all capable of crossing, TAA and Davies (R & L). Na for them to deliver an inswinger or to fake a cross and pass it back into the center.

I dunno if you are getting the idea.

Like PES gives you freedom to practice these play styles you see on TV and pull them off with a good degree of realism.

FIFA play style seems to linear and restrictive. If you no sabi skill moves and tiki-taka, e go hard you play am.
