My estate in Lekki this morning. It has never been flooded before. The road leading to the bus stop and expressway, the water is almost reaching the waist depending on your height. Something needs to be done about Lagos drainage. I am just wondering how I will go out esp to go to church/ work Sunday/Monday

Low leveled roads.... Naija need high roads, higher than drainage system.... But they construct our roads on same level with our drainage systems... Also we need wider gutters... Not those narrow shits....

Amsterdam and some other Dutch cities are below sea level, yet they don't have flooding. They put some things in place to prevent it, it is not just about drainage anymore, lekki and V.I need a complete overhaul in flood water control - this flood thing happens every year.
