yes also beware of drunk drivers in lagos. i was in pako busstop in bariga before unilag gate, on sunday this drunk idiot waited for me to make uturn after which he just ran into the back of my neighbours hyundai sonata of which say the bumper na plastic as it was me driving and lagos boy, the guy just siddon inside mottor, i take slap remove am from driviers seat. to cut long story short i collect 8k from the guy that night, mopol for my guy bank collect , boys wey intervene collect, everybody drink beer, person wey get motor collect share me sef pocket the rest. hmm na wao see as we just share 8k and th bumper for the car na 30k of which very scare, well next day panel beater was able to patch it up. lol. welcome to lagos. either you bash or be bashed.

lastma hmmm bad news, very idiotic people collected 2500 from me just becos i make mistake around oregun trying to get to ojota but was on the wrong lane by the traffic light hence i caysed build up of trafic. dem guy na craze.

henhen before i forget. gave my keys to my aboki only for me to come back and find out that the key to my sliding door has been removed from the bunch of keys, sarpmsharp i go buy padlock and chain to de secure my buglary proof. ole barawo. and also one of the teenager son of my neighbours do mistake carry my only and one better jeans wey i get inside their house come talk say hum think say na im papa get the jeans.
also one of the the female neighbours is geting married today so the flat beside me is now 5irls and no longer six. lol.

talking about the pros and cons of living with the landlord.is there any pros living with ur L.L,i dont think so,they are just like any other tenant thats my only pros for them but the cons after my some gist with my collegues is that their gates are closed earlier than you can imagine often time they want your wife to sweep/clean the compound not minding her kind of profession(efry woman supose b housewife).finally,you play exactly by their rules and regulations.
How do you tackle this(masky suppose gist us on how to do this,he has tasted both world).Politely ask him to spell out his DOs and DONTs and politely reject those that are not going to be ok with you.Imagine a L.L telling you not to pray in the mid nite as long as you stay in his house on the guise that xtians are hypocrites(this actually happend to a friend).

Hello my people. Been a while now that I was last here. Masky, Ice, Ijoseda, Axeman, Kingboy, all others, I throway salute. You guys have been awesome. I can see you've been keeping things rolling here.

The issue of landlords and landladies stole my attention. You know, staying in the same house with them could be a blessing as well as a curse. It depends on how 'lucky' you are. My family and I stayed with our landlady in our former house, and I tell you, it was hell. The woman practically manipulated and controllled everyone around her, from her children to her tenants, and even other people around. She refused to allow us hold house fellowship in our part of the duplex, cos, according to her, 'it disturbed her system'. She forced herself into the house of those living in the BQ, physically assaulting the occupant, cos, again according to her, the woman's prayers were too dangerous, and as such, she wasn't comfortable. She laid rules as she liked, and of course, was the only one who could break those same rules as she pleased. When we eventually moved out, it was the biggest of relief.

On the other hand, where we live now, there's been peace. Another landlady here, but one with the fear of God. Very nice, and above all, she minds her business. We really feel blessed and pray that we would be not be tyrants to our own tenants in the near future.
