okay bro, thnks. I guess I ve to look for a new repairer myself, did u change ur screen eventually, and how much did it cost ?
There's a road opposite Ikeja Club (that T junction) as if you're going to slot. The first turning by your left and the first storey building by your right. There are so many laptop repairers upstairs. When u climb the stairs, count about 4 shops to ur right, yyou'll see a repairer. Actually there are so many of dem. Computer screen comes in grade level, you can get the one of 12K, 15k, 18k etc.
NB: PLEASE BE CAREFUL SIR!

Thanks for sharing this.
You won't believe how wise up I am with this info.
You're welcome bro. I've always thought I could never fall for their tricks but they got me mehn! Anytime I see people rant about them on social forum like nairaland, I call those people names like dull guy, mumu etc. I never knew my day of reckoning was around the corner. Wetin pain me pass be say I even paid 2500 for servicing and service charge for a laptop he couldn't repair. It was after 2 weeks I got to know he had changed my screen when I took it to another repairer. It was the 2nd repairer that showed me how to remove a laptop's screen within 30 seconds and fix in another at the same rate.
I have learnt a lot of lessons though
1) Whenever you want to buy or repair any gadget, always look for a standard shop and don't mind the price.
2) Anybody can be a victim no matter how sharp you are, because they keep devicing means of cheating unsuspecting customers daily.

The thunder wey go fire those computer village boys still dey inside oven. Mine was my laptop o. I went to computer village with the hope of repairing my laptop's charging point. I was trying to look for a repair shop when a guy accosted me and asked if I was looking for where to repair my laptop. I shunned him at first, but after walking round for 20 mins I went back to locate the guy.
Fast forward to his burrowed shop, he tried my laptop with my charger and told me he wanted to test it the laptop with his oga's charger next shop. I kept my eyes on him of course but what surprised me was how he was able to remove my screen without me seeing him remove it. I later got to know after 2weeks. Chai, I no fit cry.

Rukemi291:
For multiplying figures with Zero, remove the zeros and multiply the figures then put back the zeros.

eg.
500x200
5x2=10 then add four zeros

100000.

My mum, my maths teacher. I love you, mum
Excellent.
You can also perform the same trick on decimals.
E.g
0.2 x 0.4 = 0.08
Remove d decimal points (2 x 4 = cool
Count d numbers of zeros in both decimals I.e 0.2 n 0.4 has 2 zeros
Add the 2 zeros to ur answer from d left hand side. I.e 0.08

African mentality. The question didn't say the old lady is a witch or the friend didn't know how to drive... #AFRICANSstopthinkinglow
As someone rightly said "you can't answer this kind of question without assuming". Besides they didn't tell us where the incident happened, whether it's in Africa or Europe. We are all making assumptions here.
Even the person that thought outside the box made assumptions.

Words Can't explain the shock I suffered today after I bought this and saw only two fishes inside.... I bought this at a mini mart for 200 naira! The price of two full fish in Ghana. Even the oil inside was not up to a spoon. Am still in shock.... From around five fishes we had around 1998 to just two fishes. God Forbid! What hope for the average Nigerian in this country?
