The matter is in court and is a sub-judicial matter to talk or act about case in court or speculate on them, as it can be subjected to contempt of court.
The invasion of Nnamdi kanu's house by NA was just a contempt of court. The NA has outrun the court in this case so those who stood for him have no case to answer.
They should have waited for that court next ruling.
The invasion may be wrong and unlawful but was not contempt of court because the purported reasons has nothing to do with the court case but his alleged current(at the time) activities. Because a person has one case in court and is on bail does not mean he should not be challenged/apprehended if suspected of another crime or threat .So the right argument has absolutely NOTHING to do with subjudiciality but whether there was reasonable new suspicion and whether the Army was the right entity and whether they acted lawfully

I strongly believed aac govt will deliver but with the way they re going about this kanu issue, they might end up attracting enough supporters for the kanu. Since they know he is due to appear in court soon why invading his home? Will killing him end the agitation? If I were this regime I will listen to obasanjo. I used the word regime cos they re acting like military regime

Do we expect the sureties to be Kanu bodyguard. The state granted him bail and the same state kidnapped him.

Hey, the Obla guy or whatever his name is, is right to an extent. When you stand as a surety in court for someone standing criminal trial, it is incumbent on you to produce the individual on every adjourned date as long as you are still the surety. Where you fail to produce the individual, you shall either show cause why the person is absent or in the alternative loose or forfeit the bail bond stipulations. However, the remedy available to his sureties is to apply to be discharged as sureties, and I strongly advise them to do so, otherwise the law is that they will certainly loose the bail sum and then people would start whipping in political sentiments.

Yes if he is found committing another offence, he should be held but causing his whereabouts not known and coming to threaten those that stood for him is where the government is culpable.
I know that there is no double jeopardy law in Nigeria but that should not be an excuse to violate the sanctity of ones house and coming to threaten those that stood for him.
The NA has clearly outrun the courts.

The thing is , the declaration by the court will give the security agency power to smoke kanu out from wherever he's hiding. The government won't look for him now, but are waiting for the court to order for his arrest, then you'll see how he'll be disgraced.

When we say this Regime has some clandestine motive in the way it's handling this Kanu issue and heating up the politics some touts would jump to their defence.

You invaded Kanu compound when you know there is a pending Court sitting with him?
Now you are talking about the Sureties as if Kanu ran away? How big is Abia State that your so called intelligent Agencies cannot fetch him?

I think PMB has secret agenda and he is just looking for slightest excuse to play it out.
What a shame of a leader.... What kind of hatred is this?

if Kanu fails to attend court, the court should hold F.G responsible.
As long as the court stands, Kanu was on bail. F.G acted against the law.

Culpable. You are making a statement about "FACTS" . Well there is more than one party which will have their own version of facts so we cannot conclude on facts without hearing both sides.
I do not understand the syntax in the emboldened phrase. Exactly what are you trying to say?.
The government claim the security forces were doing their job. They claim IPOB supporters mounted road blocks and were extorting money. That they burnt police stations and so on

The lawful authority is the state government and we cannot escape that fact. The state government agrees with the designation of IPOB as a terrorist organization. So I believe IPOB have done the right thing when it is reported they have gone to court. But these are new issues and we cannot hide under subjudiciality rather chalenge the action's lawfulness in its own right. It has nothing to do with the extant court case

No, no, nooo!

When the bail was effected, there were express and implied terms underlying the bail.

The express terms will include the fact that when the court calls for the case, the sureties must produce the accused.

Unfortunately, the implied terms includes that normal court process will be followed in calling for Kanu to appear at the court.

Now, this military approach of handling Kanu's issue has breached the procedure and consequently caused a miscarriage of justice.

No court of law applying the conventional rule of law can legally go after the sureties of Kanu after the military interference with the matter.

Well, for now we must avoid prejudicial utterances. Let's watch the court.

It beats my imagination how you Igbos reason, so you expect Nigeria Army to watch Nnamdi Kanu threatening the peace of a sovereign nation simply cos he has a case in court? Fam, it doesn’t work like that.

The court grant him bail in expectation that Nnamdi Kanu ll strictly adhere to his bail conditions but he failed woefully to do that prior to Army issue. You seemed to have forgotten that there are video evidences all over the media for prosecuting attorney to send Kanu back to jail for a long time.

The court ll only make its judgement on the violation of his bail conditions.

Trust me, if Kanu doesn’t turn up in Court that day, it’s a bad one for both the sureties and of course Nnamdi Kanu.

Tell me, where on earth would Kanu try that rubbish he did in the East without going to Prison for life, even in the most advanced countries in the world.

He and his Ipob followers formed their own Army and paramilitary when he should be adhering to his bail conditions. This alone is enough to nailed his coffin for life.

Putting sentiment aside, can you truthfully show video of where Kanu formed his own Army? You started by taking jabs on the entire Igbo nation and ended up showing that you are just bluffing because of hatred and not reasoning... Too bad we have lost every sincerity expected of mankind in people like you.
