Have You Ever Dated This Kind Of Person? If Not, Try Biko. by Nobody: 9:31pm On Dec 20, 2017
"Date someone who could drop their phone next to you on the couch and leave the room, but you wouldn't even think of picking it up and going through the messages. YOU KNOW THAT THERE ISN'T ANYTHING ON THERE FOR YOU TO FIND. You know that they haven't been texting anyone else. You know that they only have room in their heart for you. Date someone who could come home late from work, or stay out with his friends until midnight, and you wouldn't worry too much about it. Someone you know wouldn't cheat you, even if his/her stomach was swimming with liquor. SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS EXACTLY WHERE HE SAYS HE IS, BECAUSE HE/SHE WOULD NEVER DREAM OF TELLING A LIE. DATE SOMEONE WHO COULD TEXT ONE OF THEIR CLOSE (opposite gender) FRIENDS, AND YOU WOULDN'T BE JEALOUS.

You wouldn't wonder if she's prettier (he's better) than you. You wouldn't wonder if she/he is somehow going to steal him/her away. YOU KNOW THAT HE CHOSE YOU FOR A REASON. You know thai if he/she says NOTHING between the two of them, then it is the HONEST TO GOODNESS TRUTH.

Date someone you could have a dream about cheating you, but wouldn't wake up and wonder whether he is really going around behind your back. You wouldn't take it as a sign. You wouldn't read too far into it, because YOU KNOW THE REALITY IS BETTER THAN ANY DREAM. You know that he would never hurt you, because he/she is wild about you as you are about him/her.

Date someone who could go away on a business trip for a weekend and YOU WOULDN'T SECOND GUESS whether or not the trip actually exists. You wouldn't freak out about him/her getting a hotel room for himself/herself. You wouldn't get paranoid about whether he's/she's  going to take advantage of the opportunity and invite someone back to his bed.

DATE SOMEONE WHO YOU CAN ACTUALLY SAY THAT YOU TRUST. SOMEONE AUTHENTIC. SOMEONE WHO IS TRANSPARENT. SOMEONE WHO IS LOYAL AND RELIABLE AND HONEST AF.

Date someone who isn't shy about giving you the password to his email, wifi, phone, or Netflix account. Someone who isn't overly protective when you ask to use his computer or borrow his phone for a minute. Someone who is willing to share every piece of his life with you as long as you are willing to do the same.

Date someone who never makes you feel unattractive even for one second. Someone who never makes you feel like you should be having more sex with him/her or should be or should be wearing more lingerie. Someone who never makes you feel pressured to do something you're uncomfortable doing. Date someone who is fulfilled by you and only you and let's you know that.

DATE SOMEONE WHO IS PROUD TO WEAR HIS/HER RING TO WORK. Who is proud to post pictures of you together on social media or prop photos of you onto his/her desk.
Date someone who loves you. Someone you can trust. Someone you are sure would never hurt you." (By Holly Riordan).

How imaginative !

Sounds like Telemundo... Paloma and Diego..

But then the reality is when such people appear, the voices in the head, the voices in the mind, the demons in the head ! obstructs our views and make us under-appreciate good people. Good people isn't the crux in the matter in live issues, but the clumsiness in the heads of people and the filth, impurity and logs in their eyes and the kill switch mechanism they have in their left hands and mind...

Peace is an illusion. Mankind's greatest problem is the ability to stay put without vacillating, thrown away by barrage of storms that hit left, right and centre by wandering thoughts. Even when good people come our ways, they are shielded by the fears and the protective mechanisms we set in our own very minds !

It's not who we date, it's how cleansed our minds and souls are my brother..We should treat ourselves and get ourselves ready if dating is a phase in our lives we want to take seriously, cause the inconsistencies would just twitch the brain cells of the other person and then " Cablu-eee "

Just keep an open-mind in any relationship. Always expect the worse from people 'cause change is constant.

I read it and got annoyed, why must a guy check his girlfriend's phone to build trust?

Bro you cant give what you dont have. SELF LOVE comes first. How can you love another when you love not yourself. I really like what you wrote up there not just the TRUTH but the style with which you have expressed yourself, smooth and well knitted.

"It's not th spoon that bends, it's we " - Matrix, remember this message passed to Neo?

It's not good peopledon't come into our lives...It's our own barricades of fear, insecurities, second-guessing, doubts...etc..of self-inflicting thoughts that throws us into storms of uncertainities shielding us from healthy social interactions and not people biko kwa ! It's we treating ourselves and purifying the soul that we can see better...This and more is what i say, cause people don't recognize good persons till they're gone most times...You see what i mean now?

I don't cheat, I just want you to respect my privacy, guys don't know their boundaries in a relationship, why should a guy check my phone or ask for my social media passwords?

It doesn't make any sense and I won't give.

See you na! Are you sure you can be an acclaimed bad boy? That one actually requires more work than being a good guy.

Besides, who mentioned anything about "treatment" in the post?

The reason I don't follow most of these online advice is because they are usually given by people who do not have real life experiences about the things they actually advice people about. I mean, what in heaven's name is date this or that, how are you supposed to know the person you have fallen so much in love with is insecured or has shortcomings you might not be comfortable with? What in heaven's name is wrong with not giving your passwords out because you feel there are some things your partner is not supposed to know so long it won't affect him. What manner of silly post is this. undecided
