Joker!

I don't know why these idiots talk as if Nigeria is a rich country, like we have unlimited amount of money......which is so untrue.

Apology is free. Finding the money to go and build roads in Soth East will be very diffivult. There is no mineral resources in the S/e .

If there are no mineral resources in Igboland, why do you cry when ever they shout Biafra.?

undecided. Igbos doesnt deserve any apology because they also killed Nigerian soldiers during the civil war..
There was a time during the civil war that the Biafra warplane wanted to blow the petrol(total) depot at Ijora but failed, will biafra apologize if the operation was successful.Nonesense
I will apologize only of they apologize first for bombing the Yoruba people inside casino in Lagos. Else, they should go and end up inside lagoon.

The only good thing about Sowore is that he represents a younger generation that is ever becoming politically aware.

And that's where it ends. Igbos have heard the "I will do this and that in Igbo land" many times before. The problem with Yorubas like Sowore is that they don't get Igbos because they don't know Igbos. All they know is "one Nigeria" as if saying these two words will create love and unity.

We have a unitary structure that is strangulating the people in the SE/SS area and Sowore is talking about what he build in Igbo land? You have a system that is unfair to many and Sowore is talking about capital projects to appease Igbos?

How will Sowore correct the lopsided federal structure? How will he take on the North? How will he face the core North? How will he end quoter system? How will he approach self determination? Will he respect the right of Igbos to breakaway from Nigeria or will he adopt Presidiot Buhari's "our unity is not negotiable" stance? How will he bring fairness and and trust back into the system? How will he deal with tribalism? How will he tackle the bureaucracy?

There many important questions that need to be answered, the days of "what I will build for you" is for the birds.

People with your mindset will tear this country apart..see the truth and say it the way it is

Playing to the gallery is not speaking the truth. What opportunities do I have in this country that Igbo's don't have? The primary school, secondary school and university that I attended in the south west all had Igbo's who were treated the same way as Yoruba's. We all competed equally for job opportunities after service. There are bad roads in the south east same as we still have in the south west and northern part of the country. So, what nonsense apology is Sowore talking about?

I don't think Nigeria owes any specific ethnic group an apology per se, because if things were working nobody would be complaining. I'm only unhappy with the fact that the Biafran war became a topic that people were scared to talk about. Because to be honest, Nugerua doesn't seem to have ever completely recovered from the civil war. If these things were talked about. . .taught in schools. . .people like Nnamdi Kanu would've never gotten famous in the first place. Fraudsters like him wouldn't have been able to market their own version of history and propagating hate against other ethnicities. It irks me when I see Yoruba's and Igbo's fighting especially, considering we are 99% genetically alike.

FinBalor, I am a core yoruba man with tribal marks. I apologise to all decent Ndi'Igbo people like you for my comments.

Its people like you that are converting me to the "Tribal Fold". Just look at the comments above and see how mad Nigerians are. I am a supporter of Sowore not because of tribe or anything but because of my belief in him to give Nigeria a radical change.

But its obvious that Igbo people are nit really the tribal lot.

You are new in this country. All the government officials including the VP, Fashola...who visisted the SE confirmed that the SE, despite having the smallest size in the federation has the worse road in the country.

When will the Igbo nation apologies for killing Ademulegun and his pregnant wife for no reason? When will they apologies for killing Ladoke Akintola without provocation? When will they apologies for killing thousands of Nigerians during the civil war? When will they apologies for bombing Lagos unprovoked during the start of the Biafran war? When will they apologies for the war crimes committed in the mid-west?

What attention do Yoruba's have that Igbo's don't have? What opportunities do I enjoy that my Igbo contemporaries don't enjoy? Enough of this emotional blackmail and playing the victims card always. Nobody owes you guys any apology.

Forget the past and focus on the present, in order to build a better future. A war happened - a war that could have been avoided - and with it came the horrors and tragedies that come with war. It was a war, not a Tea Party for Christian Vicars. There were crimes on both sides. Inhumanity on both sides. That's what wars have always entailed. Stop playing the victim because you lost. There were no heroes, and there were no victims. There were only tragedies.

Until we put all this behind us, Nigeria cannever progress.

When has the Igbos become coupist? Has the Benue people apologised for killing Murtala Mohammed?

On what Yoruba have that Igbo doesn't...we will come back to Lagos which you claim is owned by the Yorubas...eastern Nigeria need its own Lagos...You see your life?

You can never forget the past without atonement and genuine reconciliation...It happened in Germany and it happened in South Africa. The wicked FG has not shown any desire for reconcilation...The civil war fought 50 years ago is still going on. Where is the progress? The only progress is in the North and SW. See below...

“...Sincerely speaking, the South-East has not had a fair-share since the civil war. Their marginalization is quite obvious. But if the policy of reconstruction, reintegration and reconciliation of Gen.Gowon and the late Gen. Murtala’s administrations had continued, the agitation by the few Igbo for Biafra state would have been a thing of the past..." Balarebe Musa
