Living in LA, I wouldn't expect garri to be scarce, though I could be wrong. Perhaps you aren't living/visiting the right neighborhoods?

For me, it's the classical smoking of "oto (as we used to call it in sec sch ): Garri, sugar, carnation and milo with a few crushed cabin biscuits to boot. Take that with some beans and you will be asking urself what the use of going back to naija is man - it's naija heaven in america

Garri is my fave meal. Garri + chilled water only.

Sometimes with beverage, fried fish or just beans, but whenever I smoke garri, my eyes suffer red!

look garri na de thing this their yeye food no cut the deal, after work wey this oyinbo don use me like rain water instead of me visiting the psychology wey my work place get say make i go tell my work stress i go go house get garri from this indian store dry fish after i finish na sleep Oh, that their psychology na him go still go tell Human resource say e be like say i get jungle stress because him 5years for spsychology chool no fit understand my kind of reasoning only garri fit fix am.

I have a confession and I wonder who else does this.
I am petrified of disease causing bacteria in uncooked food like smoking eba especially spores that can survive for ages which we all know is prevalent in our soceity so before i drink my garri,i have to basically "sterilize "them for fear of catching something.

I usually refry mine on high heat for a while,let it cool then proceed to drink it.
Does anyone else do this or am I being paranoid?
