myjoy08:

Sir, I think it is the way the system is designed based on my little experience with real time trading. Take for instance, if you have 500,000 in your account and you trade 420,000, it means you have to wait for the computer to programme it into your house account before you can placed another trade. You can't place another trade immediately it is executed but wait like 20 minutes before it settled, and you can use the remaining 80,000 to place another trade. It is not something to worry about at all. I hope it help?
Thanks.

Please is there any Morgan Capital geek in the house. My challenge is that the itrade will always claim insufficient fund before I exhaust my deposit ( basically it will not refresh until the close of business) ,is there any way out? Note: I should have contacted their customer service ,but it seems those guys there don't know what they are doing. It does not take the shine away from the fact that they are truly a real time trading platform, they just need to work on their support service for their customers.

myjoy08: Hello Family, don't be surprised to see the announcement of Oando's completion of COP deal and released of 2013 Audited results at the same time. Not far at all, at all(in a twinkle of an eye). It comes like a surprised in the end...(Please for the sake of God, not a buy or sell recommendation as you are free to await for any projected junction price you assume). And as for Transcorp, it follow suite of the moving train (Institutional Investors already taken over the stock)

Good luck.

Remember, your DUE DILIGENCE IS EXPECTED.
For the faint hearted time to run.

Aks: Conductor sha, i sold the first tranche at N5.68 and finally dropped the remaining @ N5.50. i don try small, i'll mop it shortly if i see it on the floor @ my 'envisaged' price. I foresee it dropping in the next 2 trading days b4 picking race again
I have 45% ROI on my Transcorp and I'm still buying. Transcorp is reaching 8 naira b4 year end.

Michael11stock: TRANSCORP IS FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO BREAK THE RESISTANT LEVEL SO IT IS YOUR DECISION WHETHER TO KEEP OR SELL
The decision to exit from a stock depends on your ability to withstand pressure, the theory of flight and fight come into bear. This year I sold my Oando @ 20naira,custodian @ 2.75 kobo and continental re @ 1.10 kobo, confirm there current prices to appreciate the point I'm making. I got the Oando season film script right ,but my nerve failed me ( still made substantial return on those stock). Now,Transcorp and Oando are stocks that I'm loading on a daily basis because they can never go wrong. This is not a buy recommendation ,please do your due diligence.

13 Nigerian banks among World’s 1000
Posted: 06 Jul 2014 06:02 PM PDT

Thirteen Nigerian banks have been named in the list of 1000 top lenders across the world.

According to The Banker magazine of the Financial Times Group in its 2014 report on banks released on Sunday 6 July, the Nigerian banks attained this feat for the second year in a row.

The Country Representative of The Banker Magazine, Kunle Ogedengbe, listed the 13 banks that made the ranking, which according to him, is based on Tier-1 capital, as Zenith Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, First Bank, Access Bank, United Bank for Africa, Fidelity Bank and Ecobank Nigeria.

Others are: Skye Bank, First City Monument Bank, Diamond Bank, Stanbic IBTC Holdings, Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria and Union Bank of Nigeria.

Zenith Bank MD, Peter Amangbo

Zenith Bank was ranked top in Nigeria at 293 position while Guaranty Trust Bank was placed 415. First Bank and Access Bank were ranked 424 and 532 respectively. UBA was listed at 539 and Fidelity, occupied 622 position.

The Banker said the profit on capital of three Nigerian banks that are not foreign-owned subsidiaries increased. First Bank’s profit on capital increased to 25.32 per cent from 25.13 per cent, Access Bank, from 21.19 per cent to 21.24 per cent and First City Monument Bank, 15.77 per cent from 15.07 per cent.

The magazine said the share number of local banks that made the ranking “underlines Nigeria’s number one position in Africa, as no other African country had up to 13 banks in the Top 1,000 World Banks”.
