MC Usman:
The verse you quoted Psalm 149 was from the old Test. that you vehemphly opposed to when ever a verse was quoted that does not suit your views.
It seems you're deceit is gradually turning to hallucination . . . i have never opposed the old testament . . .
1. The psalms of David are about the most popular book of the bible known even to christian kids. My first bible chapter was Ps 23.
2. I am named after the author of that book.
3. The old testament is the new testament foretold.
4. You claim David was your "prophet" . . . how come none of you is following what he explicitly said in Ps 149?

When is the next excuse? Where's Samsonola? why is he suddenly silent?

i just noticed the trend. . . .Thank God that he alone is God,had man been God,maybe we would have been forbidden from even calling on his name.No man, no matter how influential he thinks he is, can change or affect the plans and works of God.our part is to exalt and lift him up we would draw all souls to himself.moreso, our weapons of warfare has never been carnal. . . we wrestle and fight not against flesh and blood.
@topic,liftedone did justice to it.
We are getting there gradually. It is a matter of time, mark my words . . . a time will come when it will be illegal to mention the name of Jesus Christ.

Kobojunkie:
I have a question. Why do you continue to post in this part of the forum if your belief is not accorded any respect at allhuh I mean we already see that it is free for all day on Christian belief in here but i-slam has been placed on a pedestal? Why not urge that christianity be accorded the same respect and everyone go home and have a nice day instead?? Don't you think this is bothersome?? @4him.

I mean it is ok for folks to take pock shots at your own belief but you dare not do that to other religion?? It is ok to pamper those who rule over others with fear but those who do not are to be tossed around and their belief's insulted for freehuh Why don't you christian demand the same respect be accorded your own belief?? Why continue to take assault in a Forum area that is obviously biased?? Why not ask the moderator to also make sure that your own religion is treated the same as he demands i-slam be treated? Or maybe you all gang up and threaten his life as well so he get things straight, LMAO!!! I really don't understand why you continue in religion area knowing what you know.
Christ did not come down to earth demanding the Pharisees get Him a throne and accord Him the same respect as the high priest.

Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing - Promise keepers

Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise
The glories of my God and King
The triumphs of His grace

Jesus, the name that charms our fears
That bids our sorrows cease
‘Tis music in the sinner’s ears
‘Tis life and health and peace

He breaks the power of canceled sin
He sets the prisoner free
His blood can make the foulest clean
His blood availed for me

Hear him, ye deaf; his praise, ye dumb,
your loosened tongues employ;
ye blind, behold your savior come,
and leap, ye lame, for joy.

My gracious Master and my God
Assist me to proclaim
To spread through all the earth abroad
The honors of Thy name
Christianity EtcRe: Did Jesus Dance And Sing? by 4Him(m): 4:00am On Mar 30, 2008
samsonola:
Why i asked is that christians spend about 60% of their time dancing and singing. So Jesus never for once danced or sing when praying.
1. Jesus Christ is God Himself . . . to whom would He have been dancing and singing to?
2. Modes of worship varies from culture to culture. For instance white folks are not used to our boisterous mode of worship here in Africa but they worship God in their own way.
The key thing here is to WORSHIP.
How you worship is dependent on you as an individual. Christianity is not a mass religion, with a set of rules and regulations . . . it is an individual relationship with God.
Some worship God with singing and dancing, others worship Him with fasting, some do it by setting aside a special time to commune with Him . . .

samsonola:
There is a certain verse in the bible that talks about Jesus bowing down to pray and yet most christians wont bow to worship.
You seem to think that the definition of "bow" is an isla'mic one. While there is no specific commandment that you must bow before the Lord by force, we do so as a sign of reverence to Him in worship.
Bowing is not when you pray like the mooslims.

samsonola:
Who introducd the dancing and singing clture that seems to take a larger % of xtian worship.
Why are mooslims so angered by christian worship?
Read the old testament my brother . . . after the Jews were rescued from Egypt Miriam composed a song . . . and the entire tribe sang and danced before the Lord. Exodus 15.
David was a one who also worshipped on his harp (a musical instrument).

You mooslims FRAUDULENTLY claim that David was your "prophet" and that Al'lah it was who gave him the psalms . . . hear what he had to say -

Psalm 149 :1Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Not only does this ridicule your question . . . it also asks the question . . . was David really a "prophet" of Al'lah?

RomanceRe: 4 Reasons Why Women Reject Men. by 4Him(m): 1:18am On Mar 30, 2008
Imani:
1. The piont raised is also due to prevaling society attitudes towards women in the Nigerian society. For some unknown reason, a lady is not expected to say "yes" when asked out at the first instance so she is not considered "cheap" and sometimes has to show the guy "pepper" before she aggrees. Sometimes, this tactics don't work and a guy that genuinely likes a girl, but cannot take rejection eventually ditches his feelings for her. sometimes, when she realises it is too late. Some of this attitude is also caused by parental attitudes towards dating. I like people who are assertive and know what they want. If you like a guy, say yes, if you don't say no, at the first time of asking. No point saying yes when you men no and vice versa.
I agree and disagree with your point.
Based on our culture guys dont expect a woman to say yes the first time they are asked out . . . but we also dont expect her to be openly rude. It is a priviledge to be approached by men who consider you physically and intellectually attractive enough to date.
Even if you dont like the guy there is a way to communicate your response in a firm but polite manner.

If you like the guy, some hard to play is expected but dont over do it . . . most guys these days dont have the patience to wait for you to change ur mind . . . infact the average guy probably has at least 2 women on standby shld you attempt to drag ur feet.
Nigerian women no longer have the cultural excuse for their behaviour.

Imani:
2. It is not women's faults that it is difficult to create "styles" for men. tongue. No waist, breasts, hips, backside. . . just a long plank. what can we do eh, , tongue

You have serious issues madame.
You accuse men of being rude and ignorant . . . haba . . . you're about one of the rudest females here.
As for ignorance . . . that's a bit rich coming from someone who finds it extremely difficult to put together a correct english sentence.
RomanceRe: 4 Reasons Why Women Reject Men. by 4Him(m): 12:48am On Mar 30, 2008
Good shot Imani, as usual you show a lot more brains than the little children running around exposing their utter lack of home training and any trace of intellectual ability.

I find the usual female accusation of stinginess strange and a reflection of the type of woman involved. Such are usually very shallow and most of the time not worth ur efforts unless of course u're only interested in a hit and run affair.
Why should a woman expect a man to pay for her shopping, dinner, transport fare just because she agreed to date him? That is not the attribute of a woman who can see beyond her nose.

I wont bother to comment on the "ugly" side . . . most women who accuse others of being ugly do so mainly because they have issues with their self esteem.

Rude and ignorant - Most women equate a show of confidence from men as being rude. From experience, women can be exceptionally rude especially nigerian women who expect you to wipe their feet simply because you find them attractive enough to attempt a chat.

Fashion sense - $20 will get a woman at least 10 tank tops, a man can only hope to leave the store with at best one fairly good shirt.

@SysUser: I thought you are at UI? Go to the department or Geology, or astrophysics, or physics, or even geogtraphy or google the planetary observatory, etc. Make your researches within some related advance science departments around the globe. You will get it, finally. Or google NASA directly.
stop using ur evasive "go and read" excuse . . . we've been served that for far too long. why dont u show us where NASA acknowledged that the moon must have been split at one point in history? Shouldnt be that hard eh?

olabowale:
By the way how many god(s) created the world and all creations, or that spoke to Adam, or that lead Noah out of the flood, or that was the Lord of Abraham, or Ischmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and his brothers, how many that appeared to Moses and helped him defeat Pharaoh and his people, how many that protected the Children of Israel, and how many is the God of Jesus, from his Mark 12 Verse 29?
This "god" who claimed to have had Ishmael as the "covenant child" sure spent the bulk of his time obsessing over the jews and their descendants . . . just wondering what tangible thing he did for the descendants of Ishmael - no prophets, no miracles, no leading them to victory over their enemies . . . did they even exist in the 4000yrs this ur "god" was worrying over those he would eventually label apes and pigs?

olabowale:
You will see that there is no God but Just One Lord the God of all things: YaaAllahu. Haleilluyaa. All::::ah always in the Bible.
baba, are u okay?
Hallelujah, Halleluyah, or Alleluia, is a transliteration of the Hebrew word הַלְלוּיָהּ (Standard Halləluya, Tiberian Halləlûyāh) meaning "[Let us] praise (הַלְּלוּ) Yah (יָהּ)."

That word u fraudulently try to force into is'lam actually means Let us praise Yahweh. Is your "god" now bearing Yahweh too?

Stingy - Very cheap - Its not our fault, the vast majority of women really arent worth putting a hole in your pocket. From now on its pay as you go.

Stinky - majority of Naija men falls into this category - Ditto for majority of Nigerian women.

Ugly - I reserve my comment but i don't think you have any grounds to call anyone ugly.

Rude, ignorant, so full of himself - Its self-confidence madamme, i suggest you deal with it.

Feet ewwwwwwwwww come on guys medi cure is not that expensive - As if the corns on your heels are any better.

Has no good taste when it comes to fashion lol rainbow color - Its easier for women to pretend to have "good fashion sense" . . . one good male shirt is worth more than 10 tacky female tank tops.
