There is something in Cult activity called Love-bombing. That is what they do when they want to seduce you into their cult, or when you are new. They 'bomb' you with love and you feel that finally you've found your home, a place with lovely people, god fearing, good people. It takes a few weeks or months before they start to bare their fangs and growl.

I'm sure that your JW friends seem very nice to you. Try an experiment. Instead of just listening to everything they say willingly, try asking them some awkward questions and read their facial expression whether they are struggling to maintain the niceness. Ask a really difficult question and see whether or not they turn nasty. Almost as if the niceness is just a reward for your acquiescent attitude, which will be withdrawn if you cease to acquiesce.

I am not aware of any instances of Jehovah Witnesses doing charity works for humanity, if anything it is their doctrine to NOT do so. If I'm wrong, perhaps you can furnish us with some examples of their charity works.

JW have never given one penny to anybody that is not a JW themselves. and even then the giving is minimal.

This is a prophecy which must be fulfilled and prayers can't change it. Boko Haram and many more enemies shall arise to kill Christians. Now, we even hear of atheists attacking and killing Christians. Anyone with knowledge will be prepared.

More Christians shall be killed, and i may be one of those ones who will die for the sake of the gospel, am prepared.

Why pray or ask of the lord if his ordained plan comes before yours?

JWs are not allowed to have deep relationships with people outside the cult. Mother's cut off their children and vice verse. It's a common story.

You cannot just decide the leave the cult. You're not free to do so. All your loved ones in the cult will cut off contact with you if you do. considering that they've systematically destroyed all your relationships outside the cult those that want to leave are even afraid to because it means being lonely in the world. Many cults employ these techniques.

Actually JW is kinda sick for upholding the biblical 2 witness rule in such cases and that's fu(ked up.

There are just too much of an extremist.
But on Morality or Cult, i'm still skeptical of how you *portray them as an organisation*.

First and foremost I would like to point out that that was said in an interview with an Attorney of the Australian Justice system. Prior to coming to that conclusion an extensive investigation into JW would have been made. The maker of the video did not make that statement, it was the Attorney that they interviewed that made that statement.

Yes, there are black sheep everywhere. That is not the point. In any decent society or association measures are taken to identify these black sheep and to expose them and remove them from where they could be harmful to others. This is not the case with the JWs. Rather they give institutional protection to these people.

Jehovah's witnesses ARE a controlling cult and they show all the general traits of a controlling cult. I'll come back to that later.

As an organisation they take great care to protect their image in the public. They say that they don't want to bring Jehovah's name into disrepute. So if you report a sex offender that would spoil Jehovah's name. Of course any intelligent person can see the flaw in this reasoning. 1, they are equating themselves with Jehovah, so anything that goes rotten in the organisation means that Jehovah must be rotten, and if the rot is exposed in the organisation then Jehovah is being exposed. How stupidly sad!

So you see, it is possible to identify this cover up methods as a General trait of the JW organisation.

Once you are aware of that then you can start to understand why in a simple discussion about the translation of Ehyer from hebrew to english a JW would dance atilogwu rather than answer direct. Furthermore it is not just an indictment against the guy I'm discussing with. Even if he wanted to answer he is probably scared witless that an honest answer will draw reproach from his fellow JWs, worse case scenario he might even get cast out from the cult. Let's look at similar(and even worse) scenarios, "The Catholic Church".

Now just like the JW, the catholic church also have accusations of cover up from top priests in rome here.

With these, would you consider the catholic a cult?

Sure, there were cases of cover up in Australia but this does not mean it happens everywhere in JW or that it's part of their general "secret cult doctrine". It's just human error.

I have three models; user, topic and comment as examples.
User model will have username field and other related fields.
Topic will have user, title, detail, comment, comment_maker and maybe other fields. While,
Comment model will have user, comment and some other fields.

Can I use models.ForeignKey to link user, comment_maker of Topic model to User model and comment field of Topic model to Comment model?

i.e can I use models.ForeignKey more than once in one model?

My parents contribute more to the church(during events and funds raising) than the amount they pay for tithe, and this is commonplace in most churches.
