Medically, giving birth to a low-weight baby can be due to uterine fibroids and malformations of the uterus which can limit a baby's development.
Also, when the placenta is compromised leading to placental malfunction, the infant's growth can suffer. Certain viral and parasitic infections can cause fetal problems like slow growth, and even birth defects.

Other causes are: poor nutrition, stress, problems with the cervix, smoking, alcohol and drugs
@OP, it is good to pray but don't allow any 'Man of God' turn you into a meal ticket because of this. You can approach God on this issue by YOURSELF and also explore all medical options available to you in tackling this problem. Peace

As is customary, I send you heartfelt messages @ this time every year. This year, I decided to post it on Nairaland(I discovered this site last year) and share the link with you.
Daddy, I have a lot to say to you and the summary of this write-up is to thank you.

Thank you dad, for teaching me that my true father is in heaven and you are only a guardian for me here on earth. Thank you for teaching me to be totally dependent on God and not you for all my needs(of course He supplied my needs through you). Thank you for teaching me the importance of a deep relationship with God, and that studying His word holds the key to a successful and prosperous life here on earth.
Thank you for teaching me that the Bible holds the answer to every life questions I may have @ any stage of my life.
Thank you for teaching me that all I am, and would ever be is deeply rooted in searching out the scriptures.

Daddy, you were very strict with me while growing up; so strict that I actually thought you hated me. You monitored me every way you could and set such high standards for me. It wasn't easy meeting up with your standards but through it all, I learnt the virtues of patience, endurance, hardwork and forgiveness.

Dad, we've had our share of altercations in the past(we still do @ times) and Indeed, a lot of water have passed under the bridge. You could afford to give me anything and everything I wanted but you chose to deprive me of certain luxury. You taught me to posess my own posessions and not depend on your own posession. I didn't understand why you had to, but looking back through the years, I am grateful for how you raised me because I am better off for it.

Daddy, do you remember that I used to be very weak @ heart and feeble minded? It was you who taught me that I couldn't go far in life with those traits of mine. In your own words ''Only the brave and courageous survive in this world, especially in a place like Nigeria''.

Daddy, you are not the perfect father (neither am I the perfect daughter) but you are the best for me and my siblings. As always, my prayer for you is to live long to reap the fruit of your labour on all your children.

Lord Jesus, thank you for drawing us to yourself because no one can come unto You except the Father draws him. Lord, I ask for your mercy on every human regardless of their religion or how far they've strayed from you. Give us the grace to open the door of our hearts unto you because You've been knocking for a very long time. Give us the wisdom we need to scale through distractions in this world which isnt our home. We want to dine with you on this earth and reign with you in your kingdom whenever we are called home. I declare and decree in the name of Jesus that all these things which I confess, shall come to pass because it is written ''All things which I desire, when I pray, I believe that I have received them and I have them''. (Mark 11:23-24)

Jesus Christ has borne my sicknesses and carried my pain. He was stricken, smitten of God and afflicted for me. He was wounded for my transgressions and He was bruised for my guilt and iniquities. The chastisement needed to obtain peace and well-being for me was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him, I am healed and made whole. I now have perfect health in my body. (Isa. 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24)

The will of God is done on earth as it is done in heaven. There is no sickness in heaven; therefore, I am not sick at all on the earth. Jesus was never sick on this earth. Jesus is in me and His life flows in me. As He was in the world so am I in this world. I am healthy as Jesus was healthy upon this earth. (Matt. 6:10; Gal. 2:20; 1 John 4:17)

Jesus destroyed the works of the devil, which were diseases, sicknesses, and bodily infirmities; therefore, all the works of the devil upon my body are destroyed and I have perfect health in Jesus Christ. (Matt. 8:17; 1 John 3:8; Acts 10:38)

I am justified by my words. I have the faith of Jesus Christ in me, for Jesus is in me, and He is the Author and Finisher of my faith. I speak unto the mountains of sickness and disease and they obey my words and leave. I have authority and power over all disease and sickness; I command them to leave and they obey my words. I lay my hands on the sick and they recover. (Matt. 12:37; Heb. 12:2; Mark 11:23; Matt. 10:1; Mark 16:18)

All authority in heaven and earth is given unto Jesus Christ. I have faith in the power and authority of the Name of Jesus Christ and through His Name I am made perfectly whole. (Matt. 28:18; Acts 3:16)

The Spirit of God who raised up Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in me, and He who raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, also quickens and gives life to my mortal body through His Spirit who now dwells in me. (Rom. 8:11)

I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead and I am healed. For with my heart I believe unto righteousness and with my mouth confession is made unto healing and health. (Rom 10:9,10; Mark 5:23; Acts 14:9). I therfore declare that I am healed

My health springs forth and the glory of the Lord is revealed in me. The Lord brings me health and cure, and reveals unto me the abundance of peace and truth. (Isa. 58:8; John 17:22; Jer. 33:6)

Jesus has destroyed Satan and spoiled all his principalities and powers, and they no longer have any power in me. In the Name of Jesus, I have power over them and over all their works of sickness and disease. (Heb. 2:14; Col. 2:14-15; Mark 16:17-18)

It is the will of God that I should prosper and be in perfect health even as my soul prospers. (3 John 2)

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and all the fullness of God dwells in me. I glorify God in my body and in my spirit which are His. (1 Cor 6:19-20; Eph. 3:19).

I believe in God and all His promises, and all things are possible unto me. All these confessions of mine are Yes unto me for Christ has paid the price for all of them. (Mark 9:23; 2 Cor. 1:20)

You can develop a personal relationship with God by speaking to Him from your heart(prayer) and studying His word. He is your Father. He loves you and is more willing 2 reach out 2 u than u are, 2 Him. Your recent hunger and thirst 4 God implies that God is calling you 2 himself @ this time. I hope you have given your life to Christ. If not, there is a short prayer we can paste here 4 u to say. Cheers

Incrizz: Bro what advice? That you could pray and God could also give you "future" premonitions..? It's just an advice based on knowing that God could widen your scope for His glory.

My main message in the main post above is; one can enhance the quality of one's dreams by strengthening one's mind with God's word.
If you don't like your dreams, meditating on God's word gives you the kind of victory in dreams that you may be seeking. I am speaking from experience and agreeing with what King Solomon in the Bible said about dreams too.

Meditating on God's word does not give you victory in your dreams only. If You are consistent in this habit you get to experience victory in every other aspect of your life.

It used to be Fumman but not anymore. Let's be honest with ourselves. How many Nigerians will willingly buy a brand which wld be about three times the price of what we presently have in the market because that's what it means if we expect these products to be pure fruit juice with no additives. For us to get the best, we must be willing to give the best in terms of cash.

I am not an MFM member but dis is d 2nd time I'll be attending d program @ Powerhouse, Ibadan, the first being some months ago. I did not plan 2 attend d program until yesterday 9t. It was as if I was led by d Spirit 2 go. Imagine my joy when the first 3 prayer points led by the MOG were actually about me, and then subsequent ones, and I was like ahn ahn did anyone tell dis man about ME? Also, On my way dis morning, I did something I dont think 'av ever done. I was led again 2 buy Anointing oil and bottled water(I was wondering why I needed it). It was during d service dat I got 2 realise dat Dr Olukoya probably told people 2 come with these items depending on their needs to be prayed upon. I am not sure. Anyway my own need was d Anointing oil, so I just prayed on the water 2 represent fruitfulness in all areas of my life. By dis time, I was grinning from ear 2 ear cos it was obvious 2 me dat God had definitely ordered my steps. After d service, I quickly stepped out inorder 2 get transportation on time 'cos my previous experience wasnt funny as I had 2 wait for 20 mins b4 getting a cab. That was how 'Baba' said NO, I shld step back into d auditorium and go and kneel down @ d Pulpit and thank Him dat I am coming back here 2 testify. I was worried about getting transportation on time but Baba said He wld make it easy 4 me. I went back 2 d auditorium and had 2 wait 4 about 10 mins 4 d officiating minister 2 leave d altar. By d time I left, d park was already saturated wit people but I got my ride easily and IMMEDIATELY I stepped outside. I guess I shld be prearing 4 my big testimony

It take serious efforts and time management skill to be an online student. Mind u all student school works like assignments and course works are submitted via turnitin which check that the work are student original work and not stuff copied from d internet. If d turnitin shows more than 30% are copied work. It is automatic F. So tell me how many nigeria university are or can maintain high level of academic standards. Plz alway check ur facts before u put them out in public forum. Op, also check out university of liverpool. They offer well structure online program and ur certificate will not carry any online or distand learning reference.
