No Buhari is the greatest fraud, I still can't understand how he was able to deceived vast majority of Nigerians for that long to make them believed he is a clean man, a man of integrity until they made him their president and the reality is the opposite. Is it about the certificate, or the Halliburton, or the chibork girls, or his assets declaration,or. his nepotism in appointments,or back door recruitments ,or his record in ptf or denials of promises made to win an election after the election has been won.The list is endless, I still wonder how such a man is touted to be a man of integrity or maybe because he is calling every other person thief and fantastically corrupt, then he should be the only saint.

When Nigerians truly will start a revolution all those politicians are in trouble. Nigerians are smart people. People saying all those politicians will run away are under estimating the power of hunger. By the time people with guns block airport and major highways all over then maybe those vermins in Nass will sit up.
Na lie which Nigerians, don't you see them on nairaland and other social media defending the indefensible, suffering and smiling, blind loyalty ,without any self worth, if such a situation ever arise which I doubt they will prefer to die in their stead

Buharis economic team are not doing enough. CBN got no extra dollar to cushion the effects of dis recession & some stup*d Nigerians keep hoarding d dollar so they could get rich as thier country & the naira dies while they grow rich.

The middle & upper class + plus nairalanders should stop the blame games, after all even toilet paper you buy d imported one & you expect d naira to magically gain value, keep deceiving urselves
it's the government job to do the job it's elected to do ,not blame every body if it's not previous. government, its falling oil prices or the citizens importing what they need but not available in the country, meanwhile the real culprit is the government who is spending over 40% of scare forex importing products we have in abundance thereby putting unnecessary pressure on the naira because it lack the political will to do its job, waiting for three years for dangote refinery is very silly.

The massage is for those that can understand.

My question and question is why are we importing refined petroleum products an essential commodities instead of refining locally. This is consuming our forex if we can't export other commodities most we be importing what we have locally only to refine.
That's the problem with Nigeria insincere elites and gullible followers, they will never say the truth but divert attention because they want to be in the good book of government and help. sustain them in power. low oil price is not the problem ,importation of refined products is the problem, your earnings is low and you are filtering the little you earn on unnecessary importation, which a serious government can end through cheer political will, that will have had serious positive multiplier effect on the economy but no they are there always giving excuses

PoliticsRe: I Didn't Hand Over A Collapsed Nation To Buhari - Dr. Goodluck Jonathan by 4wrd9ja: 9:49pm On Aug 23, 2016
erinolu:
Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has replied his critics who accused him of handing over a nation at the verge of collapse to his successor, President Muhammadu Buhari.
.
Jonathan recounted the achievements of his government to include, handing over a country that produced the richest man in Africa.
.
Jonathan said, “I took over a Nigeria that was the second largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $270.5 billion in 2009, I handed over a Nigeria that had grown to become the largest economy in Africa and the 24th largest economy in the World with a GDP of $574 billion.
.
“I inherited a Nigeria in which the trains were not working, and handed over a Nigeria in which citizens can safely travel by trains again.
.
I inherited a Nigeria that was a net importer of cement, and handed over a Nigeria that is a net exporter of cement.
.
In 2009 the richest Nigerian was the 5th richest man in Africa, but I handed over a Nigeria that produced the richest man in Africa.
.
”The former President stated that democracy will continue to grow in the African continent if leaders value the process of elections more than the product of the process.
.
He said, “Even in the 2015 general elections in my country, Nigeria, there was potential for major crisis if I was not a President duly elected by the will of the people.
.
“The campaigns leading to the elections almost polarized the country into Christian vs Muslims and North vs South divide.
.
Most World leaders were worried that our elections will result into major crisis.
Some pundits even from here in the United States said that those elections would spell the end of Nigeria and that we would cease to exist as a nation because of the polls.
.
That is where the leadership question comes into play.
.
As a leader that was duly elected by the people, I considered the people’s interest first.
.
How do I manage my people to avoid killings and destruction of properties?
.
With the interest of the people propelling all the decisions I took, we were able to sail through.
.
Indeed, we sail through because I refused to interfere with the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, having appointed a man I had never met in my life to run it.
.
My philosophy was simple. For elections to be credible, I as a leader, must value the process more than the product of the process. And the citizens must have confidence in the electoral body.
your reply does not matter again, you allowed their lies to go unchallenged for too long until people bought into it , the damage had been done, I wonder what you want to achieve by this, you brought about this because you presented like a weakling, that was your original sin not corruption .the corruption was a means to an end for them, all past leaders are corrupt including the current one forming saint

Yeah, we are all feeling the pangs but still its unfair to blame this government, before the government was handed over to APC(after buhari was announced as the winner) what was the state of Nigerians, wasnt there sufferings compared to when the election was still going on? The fact is, Nigeria can never change if we its citizens do not change, its not really about the government, its about us, the greatest monster facing Nigeria is corruption.
oga you're still repeating this lies of corruption , Now the saint is in power and corruption is no where to be found why is every thing still going south. The simple reason is lack of competent managers, not that everything will fall in place at once but you see signs that things are improving but not in this case they focus more on excuses than seeking solutions.
