PFRB: Soyinka is goofing again. He is a political illiterate, apologies to obj. He has forgotten that in democracy there is check and balance s he wants to instigate the people against the NAS to help his friend achieved their authoritarian status, not many people will fall for his warped thinking ,he is never on the side of the masses except for cheap political points or when his friends are not involved, he should encourage his friend to sign and then send supplementary appropriation so the economy can move forward, they should stop this ego tripping in the interest of the suffering masses |

byrron: He lost his voice on the suffering Nigerians are currently experiencing due to the FG's retrogresive economic policies but suddenly found his voice on lagos- calabar rail project debacle but also lost his voice on the budget when it was padded and later got missing by this same FG he is now singing for.
These are the types of statesmen and profs Nigeria is blessed with. YOU also forgot to add his silence on the humanitarian crisis in agatu, he with femi falana are cash and carry and favour taking activist never objective, that's why obj called him a political illiterate, that his friends are never wrong he is presently aligned with buhari because of asiwaju connection so buhari cannot go wrong for now. |

asuustrike2009: For saying the truth right. Is femi not blind to some of the corrupt practices going on? Can he beat his chest to say he hasn't taking bribe be cash or kind? Why is he silence on issues that affect the state? Why is he silence on the fuel scarcity saga? Wouldn't he be barking by now if the other government was still in power? Must we continue to suffer injustice in the name of .supporting politicians that don't have the masses at heart except their pocket This is season of revelation when the masses will know the that this so call activists are nothing but cash and carry political jobbers |

OrlandoOwoh: How I wish Femi Falana was present, he would have taken Aribisala to the cleaners.
Aribisala should learn to put the defeat of Jonathan behind. We all saw how he campaigned against Buhari last year.
The action of those Unilag students shows how lost they are in the reality of things. Orlando owoh will never reason the way you are doing now you are not doing justice to his name and thats. sad |

I don't know if you are a youth but this line of reasoning will not get us out of this mess ,we should be tired already. There is no subsidy anywhere, its government that is making money from the masses with the current price. we should force them to build refineries here that's the wise thing to do ,this will solve forex problem as 60% of our forex is wasted on fuel importation which is the highest. dollar will come down, there will be more jobs. talk about subsidy is diversionary, that encourages importation at the detriment of the masses but to the benefits of the ruling class ,the oppressors. |

Quakertellicus1: 1.On fuel...it is obvious....subsidy has to go so that marketers would have the cash to import fuel. Sure...prices would be high...but they would fall (see the GSM experience).
2.On power.....let's be honest....it is going to take ten years to fully improve generation, and sort out the wretched transmission system that we have right now. Either way...we must increase power supply because it is key to getting us off oil permanently. I don't know if you are a youth but this line of reasoning will not get us out of this mess ,we should be tired already. This case needs proper investigation b4 crucifying the teacher, I av seen a case like this where a young primary school girl lied that her teacher raped her meanwhile there was nothing like that, after the teacher was arrested and tortured to confess and he insisted he did not commit the crime and ppl started raising questions like if a young girl like this was actually raped will she be able to stand on her feet or look like nothing happened to her then they decided to check the girl up at the hospital lo and behold this girl does not even have a scratch not to talk of penetration. my opinion is proper investigation is needed to prove either of them wrong or Wright and not that she's just trying to get back at the teacher. hmm |
