gensteejay:Oh okay. I am not. Like I said to the other guy, there may be a spiritual reason to that, the caveat here being that you are actually perceiving with the pineal. gensteejay:The plant still exists and is still in use. 1 Like 1 Share |

I am a woman though, not a guy Good evening this slow moving place Now trying to figure out the role of the pineal gland in all this now Already feels like calculus And, I honestly don’t know the drug I was given I am still gonna find out(it may not even be ethical for me to disclose it? I will check my medical ethics and be sure) |
Re: Esoteric Paths by correctguy101(m): 10:48pm On Jun 05, 2019 |
merahki: Rumors says chl*ma* is one of such drugs., Just find out and let us know. But do not forget the purpose of each experience, that's all that matters. |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Nobody: 9:48pm On Jun 06, 2019 |
merahki:Hello, the plant I was referring to generates a substances that activates the pineal gland. As you well know, the pineal gland is a "dead" (dormant) organ of the human body. Every spiritual path teaches various ways to awaken it back to normalcy. Some of these plants shorten the process by replacing its function and creating similar substances that help the brain tap into higher frequencies. This also has its dangers and drawbacks. |

Great thread, I have always aspired to be a Buddhist, but then have this strong curiosity for learning, that all these esoteric teachings appear appealing. My late Dad used to have this huge library of books from various sects from Grail message, Rosicrucian, Amorc and even books by Lobsang Rampa. Like @merikh I am quite lazy and cannot maintain spiritual focus for long, this may be probably why I still can't Astral travel, or may be fear of the unknown. @Loj this thread is fantastic, please continue. |

LoJ:Very good to hear from you, I salute you too. One question I would like to ask is, on Astral travel. Do you Astral travel? Is it bad or safe? and can you recommend good e-books on the subject to me. I know these are base questions, but I have always had the impression that Astral travel was for witches and bad entities. A contrary and persuasive opinion could help launch my spiritual journey from mere curiosity, to action. Merci. |

Great thread bro. I have always wondered if any Great Spiritual Masters or Schools have existed here in Nigeria. Have you ever come across African Spiritual Masters? and by Master, I mean one who achieved full realizzation. Why the influx of so many of these enlightened beings to India across the ages? Is there a link between genetics and spiritual capabilities? How can one become fully realized in this life? Is morality an objective truth or man-made concept? Would you consider yourself a moral person? How can one become God? Who is Shiva to you? Who is Krishna to you? Are you familiar with Sadhguru? What do you know about hypnosis? Are you human? 1 Like |

AmunaNo1:There is hardly anyone that has achieved a static full realisation. There is always a step forward, and evolution is constant. Yes there are african mystery schools, and african masters. I am not familiar with the nigerian scene, but I believe there are secret cults and teachings across various tribes. The african (nigerian) stories of the Tortoise for instance indicate a sacred (secret) spiritual teaching and cult. I once met the one people call "gaia" who told me she used to be revered in african climes under a specific name (withheld). Sarassin was of nigerian origin and culture, and to call him a master would even be unfair to him. In fact if People knew him in real life they would have been astonished. Others like Mwankwo or Pastoraio , are also very advanced and it would not be outrageous to consider them Masters (although they likely would not accept). AmunaNo1:I fail to see a particular influx of enlightened beings to India. This is more mythological than factual. If you are christian or jewish, you will wonder why Israel is the chosen nation. If you are a muslim, you may think saudi arabia is the divine destination. Catholics used to consider Rome, the city of all saints. I have no reasons to believe there are more spiritually advanced people from India than any other society. If you have any evidence to back up this claim, bring forward, I will be glad to examine and have a rethink. AmunaNo1:I am not sure what you mean. If you mean to ask if one influences the other, the answer is yes. For instance, after a long practice, some meditative practice alter the inner constitution of an individual down to the DNA level. In Neikung it is established that their training does affect the DNA too. If your question is rather, are some people born with unique spiritual abilities, the answer is again yes. Sometimes these gifts are the passed from one life to the other (Reincarnation) as a result of a previous training. For instance, let's assume you activate you pineal gland in this life. Great chances are that in the next, it will be automatically activated from birth. I for instance, see visions of the future, uncontrollably, since I was born. Our DNA, morphology, inborn family, etc. is also a reflection of who we are and where we stand at soul level. The correct understanding of this helps in aura based healing practices. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

AmunaNo1:Experience. We need to experience and gain understanding from our experiences. If you observe well, you will see that the only thing that all of us do, is experiencing. Whether rich, poor, black or white, young, old, all of it is about experiencing. As we experience, our soul grows and gains wisdom and understanding. This goes on, until it reaches a liberation point. Mystery schools, simply help us enhance the experience, to see and understanding other aspects of life we usually fail to. As Carl Jung demonstrated, we all live in a semi zombified state, and 80% of life passes us by because we are asleep. Our consciousness filters most of what we experience, and we thus limited to a tiny bit of the rest to be processed. Mantras, meditation, invocation, and the rest, simply help us get the other and missing part of life and of us, back. As we grow in understanding, we draw closer to realization. In fact etymologically, realization is synonym to understanding. In the Bible, God is equated to Wisdom. AmunaNo1: Morality is essentially man made. It does not mean it is bad, every society sets its codes of conduct. This enables societal living and some measure of harmony (minimization of conflict). Still, morality is man made, in my opinion. AmunaNo1:I think a better question should, how can one NOT become God. We are all God in essence. We simply lack realization. AmunaNo1:Shiva in my view is the deification of the divine principle of destruction. As you know, life is the result of a cycle, a dance between two principles /polarities creation and destruction, eros and Thanos. 1 Like 1 Share |

When you say uncontrollably, do you mean you are yet to find a way to trigger this gift or harness it in some way? Do you by any chance see these visions in dreams or how? I ask because I do too. It happens uncontrollably, I see them in my dreams and shortly after it comes to pass. I could go months without it happening then when it does it could go on for a whole week or two. Like this week right now, I've had them back to back. This "ability" doesn't particularly excite me, and I think it's because I can't control it and make the best use of it. I've been feeling drained all week. Hope I'm not derailing. I just caught that statement you made, and had to ask especially as I look at the timeline it seems this thread came back to life the same day the visions started this week |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Nobody: 4:53am On Jul 26, 2019 |
rinrin23:Hello there, happy to read from you. I clearly relate to what you are talking. I do not necessarily have these visions while sleeping, sometimes it is when I am awake, sometimes when I am meditating. That aside I pretty much have the same experience you describe since childhood. There are periods when it is more common and periods when it stops for a while. I can't control it meaning trigger it at will, or see whatever I wish to see. I do not however feel drained by it in anyway. It is actually the main reason that prevented me from being a full blown atheist when I left institutionalized religion. I knew there must be something more that meets the eye, because of this abilities and others that I developed. It is one of the abilities I took over from a previous life, that should be expanded in this one. I want to believe it's the same for you. 1 Like |

AmunaNo1:Krishna is another manifestation of the divine. He is one of "the greats" of the Pantheon.I have no conscious personal experience of and with Krishna. When it was high time for me to "meet" and find my universal guide, I had expected that it would be Krishna or Jesus of compassion. I was amazed it was neither of them, but the merciful one who had been following me for a long time, up to many lives before, and I had not been aware. Until the day I could consciously access previous live memories, I understood what happened. I do not understand your question about sadhguru. Do you want to know if I am aware of him, or if I value his teachings? Hypnosis is a technique inspired by mystic Mesmer (seemingly a rosicrucian Cc. Babacele/ MiddleDimension ) that helps to shuts down our conscious brain to unleash the repressed side of us. Like I told you earlier, most of us live in a semi zombified state. Our conscious brain filters a lot and prevents much to get to us. It is like a glass of water in the ocean. It takes so little, and leaves out so much. Hypnosis helps to access the whole ocean to an extent. There are higher techniques out there though, hypnosis is as best as medical science can go at the moment. |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Babacele: 5:27pm On Jul 26, 2019 |
LoJ:Franz Mesmer was a Rosicrucian ,an adept in certain forms of electricity especially in the human nerves. He was particular about the effect of this electrical energy in fingers but his teaching was mistaken for hypnotism; Mesmerism ,mesmerise etc were used to describe the misconceptions about him. 1 Like |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Nobody: 5:51pm On Jul 26, 2019 |
Babacele:No. His teaching was not mistaken for hypnotism, the discipline did not even exist at that time. After his death, people studied his techniques from a pure scientific perspective and that study led to what we now refer to as Hypnotism. Mesmerism gave birth to hypnotism but was never mistaken for it. |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Babacele: 5:06am On Jul 27, 2019 |
LoJ:That has been the public perception of Franz Mesmer's work from his days. Yes he did try to demonstrate his findings to the public in his days ,and his " laying of hands" on folks to demonstrate the calming effect of the nerve energy or electricity in the hands made some persons even slept off that the then public became afraid and went superstitious that ' if a small touch from mesmer could make them sleep instantly, then an increased dose of the energy could death'! Mesmer was very interested in Faraday's ( a great Rosicrucian of note) work on electricity particularly the vibration in the human nerves . He did a lot on this field not known to the public especially after some unfortunate public outings where he was laughed at and denigrated by the organized science of the day. Peace profound. |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Nobody: 8:21am On Jul 27, 2019 |
Babacele:I fail to get your point. You sound like I am undermining Mesmer's achievements. The only thing I am saying, is that Hypnotism DID NOT EXIST when Mesmer was active, and certainly Mesmerism WAS NOT likened to Hypnotism, since it was not even in existence. Hypnotism was developed AFTER Mesmer, from studying his work. This is not perception, it is recorded fact in history. It does not devalue Mesmer in anyway. |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Truthsbitter: 9:51am On Jul 27, 2019 |
LoJ:You wrote about "universal guide", what do you really mean by that phrase? Do you think there's an Almighty God ? Do you think Jesus is just a "universal guide" and not God as the bible tells us? lastly, what would you say about Christians who by the leading and power of the holy spirit performs all these supernatural abilities that the "realised souls" you refer to performs ? thanks.. |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Nobody: 10:30am On Jul 27, 2019 |
Truthsbitter:Hello thanks for your questions. A universal guide is an aspect of the divine that helps you find your and along the path. Truthsbitter:If you mean a personal anthropomorphic god, no I do not think. I believe there are egregores and deities people worship, but I fail to see any personal God. In this I share a panentheistic view on the matter. Jesus is a deity (of compassion and mercy) and a guide to some. He is as much God as you are. Truthsbitter:Abilities are christ consciousness are not synonymous. That someone has abilities, does not imply he is realized. Like I said earlier, some have them from a training in an earlier life. Some do not even have the abilities, but use an Ally. Abilities and realization are not the same. One can exist without the other. If you mean to have me focus on pentecostal prophets performing prophecies and healing, you are in for a good laugh. Many of them are closet esoteric students, when they are not outright frauds. |
Re: Esoteric Paths by Truthsbitter: 11:33am On Jul 27, 2019 |
LoJ:Thanks for attending to my questions .. I mean a God from whom all spiritual power and/or knowledge comes from. I get exactly what you mean... But do you think he is the Almighty God who all source of wisdom and/or power comes from (that is what the bible suggest or says? I Thought the perfection of spiritual abilities comes from a full realised consciousness? Do you believe there's "the HOLY SPIRIT"? This is what is really bothering me..if most of these pastors are esoteric students , why hide it ? Is there a possibility that one can practice esoteric without knowing or admitting it? Is there a possibility that one can practice esoteric while being in the body of Christ ? I want to know your opinion on these issues, I have mine but our society wouldn't want things discussed in the way I have experienced. could this be the reason why so much people are hiding some truth about their spirituality? I AM A CHRISTIAN, though with an usual kind of spiritual sense to what our normal churches would teach. |
