Stop applying evasive tactics, answer the question he asked.
The question I asked is vital . are those in hell presently with their hands? You already admit Hell means Grave ( Sheol/Hades) Your shallow knowledge didn't even tel you Hades appear many times in Greek scripture which automatically means reference to Grave. 2 Likes |

Stop using English dictionary to always interpret the Bible. Eternal life means live forever without dieing, right? Isn't that what fully happens when the body resurrects after the spirit goes back into it? Such a person dwells in the presence of the Lord.
For those who didn't believe God...
2 Thessalonians 1:9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
The below verse clearly shows the Bible differentiating both quality of life. One is punishment while the other is in the presence of God.
Matthew 25:46 (KJV) 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Did you see everlasting punishment up there? If it's not punishment and it's not everlasting, then do you think atheists have any reason to be worried since they are just going to die and that's all?
Matthew 25:41 (KJV) 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
As seen above, no everlasting life for the unbelievers, but everlasting torment, punishment and fire for them. They are going to be where the devil and his angels will be.
According to you, hell is just a common grave and the soul doesn't live on. Then what's so special about what John the Baptist said to the Pharisees below when he warned them of the damnation of hell? Since you say that's where we are all going to end up and unconscious, then why should the Pharisees be bothered?
Matthew 23:33 (KJV) 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
It's clear you are not seeing the scriptures placed in your front. You just want to remain a robot with the programming if watchtower The Greek word combined are eternal and LIFE , So am.very much correct.! Can someone experience everlasting torment without everlasting life ( Living forever ) ? 1 Like |

No one ever disputed that. In the old testament, almost every reference to hell means the grave or the place where the dead goes(sheol) or a place of sorrow depending on the context.
In the new testament none of the reference to hell refer to the grave but a place of torment and punishment.
The problem is that JW wish to hide the fact that hell exists so they put all reference to hell to mean grave. That is very wrong.
Can you find a single new testament verse that calls or describes hell as the grave?

If not that your heart is waxed too, Mr Explain and tell this thread if those wey dey hell have their body with them ? jesusjnr: It seems Jesus was actually talking about the Jehovah witnesses when He said this to His disciples:
"Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." Matthew 13:11-15 (KJV)
For that's the only explanation why the simple saying of Jesus that God is able to kill and destroy both the soul and body in hell which has completely debunked this thread is yet being questioned by the Jehovah witnesses.
For when people's hearts are waxed gross to the Truth, there's no point trying to speak the Truth to their heart, because it would be impossible for their heart to be able to understand and accept the Truth.
So that's it from me on this Jehovah witness thread that has waxed gross. 1 Like |

"And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3).
Immortality of the human soul means the soul cannot be annihilated after death, it lives on eternally either in eternal life in the presence of God or eternal death separated apart from God in the lake of fire. Lives on eternally, Lives indicate LIfe , and its eternal. Just conclude everybody has everlasting life by default, Jesus death is useless. Accepted ? 1 Like |

You should just admit that you Jehovah witnesses don't believe in Jesus or His saying, so stop pretending to His disciples when you're not!
This matter has already been settled that a human soul can die, and that's gives credence to the death of Jesus which was purposed by God to redeem it from that death. You CNT say the soul die and still believe it lives on . two opposite things, Either you are gambling, confused or deluded. Or is it a mistake again ? Explain yourself MR 1 Like |

Don't get confused with the word eternal life. Eternity is the word you need. "He has made everything appropriate in its time.
