expertix:. Thanks much bro. Bought the domain at DIRECTNIC for $3.99. Would have bought it at $1 from Godaddy but decided to use my Paypal as that's what's available to me here in this remote location. OTP would have been an issue. |

expertix: Thanks for the informative post. The last time I registered a domain name on GoDaddy was November during that $0.99 promo. Do you think I can still get a $1 or $2 domain name from their ongoing promo? |

expertix: Should that be the case, I should have gotten a £1 price tag as I'm a new customer. That aside, can you pls help with registrars offering coupon deals so I can buy from? |

expertix: I went on Fasthosts, searched for a domain name and I found £10.99/year. Tried searching online for their coupon code for this very deal all to no avail. Have you purchased at £1 from them? Please share how you did it if you've. If you also have the coupon code, pls share. Thanks. |

OP, You've touched an important issue here and it's good that we all try to help each other learn. It's also important that writers understand the need for their content to be properly-structured. Content readability will make visitors stick to your site/blog longer. Writing an interesting, informational article requires constant editing before publishing finally. It makes your article have a sense of uniqueness. OP, please punctuate your posts properly. Hope I didn't come across as rude. No pun intended. |

PBarbara: You're looking to create an interactive website to poll traction and user engagement. Good idea! But the idea isn't all that matters. Ideas are a dime a dozen just like rug rats. There are other key ingredients to making this a sustainable business. Are you looking for paid help or want partnership? You didn't specify that. Whatever it is you're offering the developer better be convincing because the developers that I know on here that can bring this idea to fruition are either busy with their own projects or handling clients projects. If you're looking to partner; asides your idea, what else do you've to offer? Do you've a well-structured business plan? What qualities do you possess to make this business sustainable? Can you Market and make Sales? Do you've a stack of cash sitting somewhere (which I'm sure you do looking at your profile) to get this idea running for the first 9-12 months? 2 Likes |

Seun, just a few questions. 1) What gave birth to the idea of Nairaland? 2) Did you foresee things turning out this way with Nairaland when you first started out? 3) How did you get your first users? How long did it take to get your first 1000 users? 4) What struggles did you face in the "Unknown landscape"? 5) Like every entrepreneur, you must have had many ideas to develop. What led you to believe THIS would be a very profitable venture? Might add more later if Seun graces this thread. 2 Likes |

dhtml18: I'm always in Gh05tm0d3 seeking what problems abound and how they can be solved with available technology. Whisp3r brought this to my attention when he shared a post on this thread. I hope this is all over. No more name-calling,challenges or what have we here. If we can't decide to come together and collaborate, how do we measure up to International standard? The Change we seek can also come from amongst us here, not relying wholly on Political office holders. If everybody did what they were supposed to do as at when supposed, with the amount of Cocaine available in this world, no one would have his/her nose in another man's business and this section would be a better place again. To all invited and uninvited Stakeholders, this Challenge hasn't yielded any fruit, can we switch tactics? For all I know, you can't keep doing same things and expecting different results. Whisp3r, I'm awaiting your thoughts & contribution as regards my last message to you. I'm The Masked One, a Subject Matter Expert, and I just want to make #CommonSense. |

TheWebCraft, thanks for that post. Seems like you pulled the words out of my mouth. I couldn't have said it any better. Nigeria needs solutions in lots of ways and ICT can be of huge assistance but here we're with 31 pages of no solution to at least one problem. More objective minds are needed in Nigeria. 1 Like |
