Hiswordxray:

Don't worry, you will see how you have added your own biase into Jesus' word. Then you will understand why we must be slow to condemn other people's teachings, because we are all guilty one way or the other.

Just give me a yes or no answer to the question I asked and we would move from there.
I already did that.

Is Jesus not the new Covenant?
Are those blessings not Jesus own words?
Are the curses not Jesus Christ's own words?
Are the verses i postee not Jesus Christ words recorded?
Are the claims He made not valid in some way? Was He mistaken in some way or was I for posting words recorded as His?

Hiswordxray:

Are you afraid to give a yes or no answer?

Let's start from the simple before we start dealing with what a covenant is. Let's first deal with, "what is the law"

So I ask again:

Is the commandments, blessings and curse, all part of the Law, yes or no?

I did give you an answer

Is a law not a Covenant? undecided

I don't think you are ready to know the truth.

When your heart is truly turn to the Lord, and when you are ready to know the truth, then you can come back and give me the yes or no answer I am asking for. Otherwise we can't go anywhere like this.

We are two different people, you have your own theology and I have mine. If we are to meet and discuss then we must come to an agreement. And from there we can now start moving from one agreement to another. That is fellowship. But if you refuse to come to that first point of agreement with me, and all you want to do is to throw out scattered words. Then there is no way we can make any progress in our discussion.

What truth are you referring to? undecided
Are we not already talking of Jesus Christ, the one who IS the TRUTH? undecided
What other truth is there apart from HIM? undecided

Hiswordxray pls understand and be patient with our beloved brother kobojunkie. I perceive he's got the purest intentions. He wouldn't have anything less than our Lord's standard and is suspicious for any deviation. He's got the good zeal some of us have had when we began in the faith viz. to be truly devoted to our Lord.
Wait for a second... are you saying that eventually, I will STOP being devoted to following Jesus Christ but instead choose to follow after the words of men too? undecided
When does the word of Jesus Christ seize to be enough? undecided
When does the guidance of the Spirit of God, who seems to have taken over from my own spirit, become inadequate for this walk of mine? undecided
How will I know when to finally ditch Him to begin to walk the path that you now walk, according to the words of men? undecided
Finallydead:
But I perceive he is quite young in the faith and thinks the best way to go about it is to try to obey the letter especially Jesus' words, to the jot and tittle. He also seems to think the words of the others in scripture can even mislead.

Are you somehow older than John the apostle who wrote the following in his letter to all believers:

1 John 3 vs 20-27 (ERV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
20. You have the gift[a] that the Holy One[b] gave you. So you all know the truth.
21. Do you think I am writing this letter because you don’t know the truth? No, I am writing because you do know the truth. And you know that no lie comes from the truth.
22. So who is the liar? It is the one who says Jesus is not the Messiah. Whoever says that is the enemy of Christ—the one who does not believe in the Father or in his Son.
23. Whoever does not believe in the Son does not have the Father, but whoever accepts the Son has the Father too.

24. Be sure that you continue to follow the teaching you heard from the beginning. If you do that, you will always be in the Son and in the Father.
25. And this is what the Son promised us—eternal life.
26. I am writing this letter about those who are trying to lead you into the wrong way.
27. Christ gave you a special gift. You still have this gift in you. So you don’t need anyone to teach you. The gift he gave you teaches you about everything. It is a true gift, not a false one. So continue to live in Christ, as his gift taught you.
He seemed to be echoing Jesus Christ's own message

Matthew 11 vs 27-30 (ESV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
27. All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

The words of others in scripture can mislead one. That is why it needs to be cross-checked against the words of Jesus Christ, the actual truth, and the word of God.
Finallydead:
So please help him understand that isn't exactly how we are to follow the Lord. For people like kobo, we have to skillfully use the letter to show him that the letter only tries to lead us to only follow the Spirit. Then maybe he would begin to see the need to follow only the Spirit and not the letter itself.
To help me understand what? undecided
Are you implying the very Spirit of God, the one who lived in Jesus Christ Himself, is somehow incapable of teaching me all things that I need to learn in this relationship I have with God? undecided

My dear, every Christian claim they are following Jesus. Heresy hides under the name of Jesus. Everybody claim their teaching, biases, and tradition of man came from Jesus and not man. So you are not the first and you won't be the last.

"And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed." (John 3:19-20).

If you are not afraid of the light then come out let's both have an honest conversation. Stop hiding behind the name of Jesus and just come out.

I don't know why you are scared. I am not here to arm you, my goal is not to ridicule you and make you look like a fool. I am a fellow brother seeking fellowship in the light. So come into the light with me let's fellowship. Otherwise continue to hide yourself, claiming you are in the light — self-deception.

"This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other." (1John 1:5-7).

That's what you think, but I have helped many people without the gift grow in the prophetic. I don't even have the gift either.

Whether gifts or no gift, the Bible says we have the mind of Christ (1Cor 2:16), we have the Spirit which search the deep things of God (1Cor 2:10), and it also says we know all things (1John 2:20). Simple faith in these scriptures will take you places. Jesus said just have faith like a mustard seed.

High theology will do you no good.

Which gift of the Spirit did Moses and Elijah had when they moved in the prophetic?

Was Samuel distributing gifts of the Spirit when he started a school of the Prophetic in Israel?

And which gift of the Spirit Jesus had when he prophesied?

The idea of "gifts of the Spirit" only appeared in the Paul's letters. However, people have been moving in the prophetic long before Paul's great grandfather was born. So trying to classify a long aged manifestation base on a term/idea that recently appeared is just pathetic. Where was gifts of the Spirit when those other people were moving in the prophetic?

Brother there's a difference between the gift of prophecy and the prophetic office.
A believer who wasn't called into the office of a prophet can manifest the gift of prophecy. The only difference is that he may not exhibit the gifts at will while a man operating from the office of a prophet stays in the realm of the prophetic.

Brother you're very correct sir. But instead of teaching men how to move in the prophetic, why don't ypu teach them intimacy with God; friendship with God. 'cos its here the prophetic unlocked for the normal believer.

Check John 15:15.

Friends talk, friends meet.
Stay in God's presence, make out time to pray everyday: keep to the time.

Pray in tongues, keep talking to him everyday (maybe 30 mins, or 1 hour everyday), stay in prayer until you hear him.

Nice to see you have some knowledge. But in life one can never stop learning. And the technique that will enable you learn more is to humble yourself and try to learn from others. Rather than going about trying to teach everybody, as if I told you I don't know those things or that I need your explanation or your theology.

Very fact that I teach on the prophetic should tell you that I know well enough on the basics on the prophetic. If you want to teach me, why not find out what I know first then you pick up from there? Rather than galavanting your infant knowledge about. Just a word of advice

Things are more complicated than that. The things of the Spirit are usually more complex than what we would like to assume.
