Melchizedek has no birth record. It was possible for Him to just appear without being born.
His death is the most important. That's why He came.
There is however no crime in celebrating His birth

Both are important no basis for comparison be grateful for the birth as it marks divinity taking on humanity. First of it's kind. The death is the awakening of son's and daughter's. Can we just stop all this comparisons. They are both very important. It takes one for the other to be complete. I can categorically say it is ungodly for you to compare both. Stop it.

Easter is the greatest feast in the Christian faith. Easter is the greatest feast in the world. Easter begins with the 40 days Christian fasting period, the Holy Week, the Celebration of the Memorial of His Death and the Power of His Resurrection, the Memorial of His Last Supper ( when He gave us His Body and Blood).

Easter is not a period of merry making but a period of sober reflection on the suffering of Christ and the Victory over death , to reflect on the suffering of the Apostles and the Gospel. A period for Priests to renew their covenant with Christ the owner of His Church.
