We have started painting the inside of this house, we started with the ceiling and the bedroom walls. More pictures tomorrow.

Exactly , High rise construction has a lot of limitations in Nigeria . The foundation alone could cost N18M or more . You might need a tower crane, bamboo scaffold, boom lift, concrete pump , elevator lift ( A MUST ) , 2X 50KVA generator, maybe solar roof , underground parking ,etc . It will be safe to say that a budget of N100M - N180M could pull it of depends of the quality of finishes and building technology , Goodluck .

No, it cannot be calculated like that. When we talk of a high rise like a 9 storey building, a lot of other consideration comes into play. The method of construction, materials, and especially the plans needs to change to support the height of the structure. It might be much more than the amount you mentioned.

We are also planning to start the external plumbing connection of this house today, this will mean linking the house to the soakaway system by laying pipes on the ground, linking the water supply pipes from outside into the building and generally completing every plumbing works in this house. More pictures later.

The fence has gotten to the preferred height, work is now ongoing on the fence caps............

After priming the walls, we are applying the second coat of paint in the living rooms ...........

Have you considered the advantages of doing removing slabs all through for the top of soakaways? One of them being that in the future, people might have to go in to dig out sediments of waste, they can't do that from that small hole in this fixed one.
