[s][/s]Was the Lagos State Government waiting for the disease to enter Nigeria before they released the precautionary measures not to get infected?

Not surprised the man is from Milan. Milan is the Wuhan of Italy as far as COVID-19 is concerned. Watched so many TV documentaries on it recently and that city is almost entirely on lock down and even the Italians themselves are totally perplexed as to how to go about it.

As for Nigeria, best bet will be to try as much as possible to curb the virus within a small space within Lagos. If this spreads to other states, then it is anybody's guess what's going to happen.

This should be no time to panic.

And I hope the id!ots at the airport sit up proper this time to prevent further damage.

Esigbo badoo.

On the bright side, the virus doesn't thrive in heat and Lagos is very hot right now.

Chinese people, stop eating everything that moves, una no go hear. Now see the problem you've put the world in.
The melanin in black man's skin won't let it be fatal in Nigeria.
With the confirmed case of Coronavirus utbreak in Nigeria, more people to be confirmed positive in the coming days, we are in big trouble. No amount of prevention is enough.

Our last problem should be coronavirus, deep down we have so many issues we are dealing with, how do we escape from this? God please have mercy on us.

Imagine you are lockdown in your house without electricity because of our epileptic power supply in Nigeria, you can't go out because of Coronavirus. With Lagos population, the suffering will kill people faster than the virus.

I think you are being pessimistic

They will act. Just like they did with Ebola. The only time our useless government wakes up is when there is a crisis that does not only affect the poor. That’s when you see that they can actually be effective when they want to.

I think all world governments need to come together once this thing is contained and impose serious sanctions on China until they get their people to stop eating all kinds of rubbish in that country. Every time it’s them- SARS, bird flu now corona. Na only dem Dey this world.

Why was it not detected at the point of entry into the country. The best measure is to quarantine anybody coming from those affected countries for fourteen days. Nigerian government has failed in this regard.

raining season is approaching , hope you know. Many cites have experienced their first year rainfall already.

Plus what about the people he has had contact with? Na so we go start dey say heat dey,the virus nor go spread , we nor dey take things serious for this country.

Soon now pastors and traditionalists will be cashing out cos Nigerians would rather go and pray for healing or take herbal mixtures than to turn themselves in for quarantine and treatment.
