olaric: Without the contributions and donations? No tithe money? How will they pay for parking the pastors jet? etc. Also, if the worshippers knows that money can stay in their pockets and not go to Church yet they are not dead, they might stop paying tithe all together and that will be the end of all these churches and hopefully real christianity will return. 2 Likes |

The world is on a lockdown. Why should Nigeria be different? Are we on an alien planet? Government should begin to give people cash to cushion the effects of COVID-19. The pic shows a street in the US eerily quiet. 4 Likes

The case of Nigeria is like that of a child named "Folorunsho" (meaning: God look over you) who decide to use the fronds of banana tree to climb a palm tree. You know you lack the means to fight a full blown pandemic and most especially because the country has one of the most densely populated cities in the world but you continue to let foreign travellers and even native travellers into the country from hotspots with highly infected population. So, who will Folorunsho call upon to save him, after been so suicidal? 3 Likes |

Then, schools also have to be closed. But before they close churches, they should prepare relief packages for Pastors and church workers who depend on the income that comes through the church. Most members don't remember to minister to their Pastors. Well established churches should also find ways to minister to their members if it happens. |

jossypet: Some churches are not up to the passengers in 1 BRT bus. We need prayers. Why not shut government offices. Too much show. Dont go near there. Leave religious gatherings out of this. NYSC Camp was closed give us better excuse than Corona. Some in the north were told because of the insecurity in the NOrth East |
