Abidjan - la ville par nuit. Most people go to the city, but there are good opportunities in farming - Cocoa farming/Rubber/Food. Also, the other cities get power too. I know some serious Yoruba and Igbo tradesmen in Bouake - tiles/building merchandise San Pedro - is a big port and money dey move there too. I shot my documentary below in Abidjan - Paris - London about their music scene which strongly influenced Naija pop. Iyanya copied a lot of their basic call and response - couper, decaler, faroter, travailler etc...between 2006-2011 it was the best place to be for music in Africa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mwHsi-efyg 6 Likes 1 Share |
