You can make your contribution to the topic without condemning Kumuyi. He did what he thought was right at the time. You should have highlighted what JW said about the issue, instead. Concerning the issue, I believe that less propensity to giving excuses to any sin eg sexual sin, is important to living a responsible life. Anything that will help condition your mind like Scriptures etc is important

First of all a legislation should be made about it. Secondly the church should be used to drive in the message they shouldn't assume that we are adult it should preached during service every minute. The church should teach it more than their prosperity and miracle message. It should be treated as the only barrier to salvation and finally the society should encourage early marriage. In today's or nay Nigeria the only time a person is seen as matured for a life time relationship is when he or she is a university graduates that has delayed a lot of people from getting married early and also made some missed their true love. A lot of people treat marriage as a material components of life without putting Yah in it, nobody is marrying because Yah said so but that the society and people say so and because they have the material components to support it forgetting that Yah said whoever finds finds a good and obtain favour from Him. In this a lot of people have missed the mark because they see from their perspective and not God's perspective. Until "man" starts seeing marriage as God's business sexual immorality would not seize from reigning supreme in our society it a mind think and the mind has been polluted by the eyes deceitful and lustful desires. Sexual immorality is a nonsense term and may not mean the same thing to everyone, in ancient Arabia, even seeing a woman's toe was sexually immoral, and you'd notice that in a society where women's privates are fully exposed, nobody finds them immoral - the taboo mindset is what makes it immoral.

Men should stop blaming women for their uncivilized lusts, during the times spanning both the old and new testament, there was no porn, no social media, no indecent dressing, even prostitutes dressed more decent than most ladies today, yet the sexual immorality experienced during that period was legendary. One thing leads to another my friend.

The entertainment world had great influence on people generally, i only pointed out the mistakes of people who do read other people's write-ups without filtering it well to discern the import of such write-up.

I wasn't a JW back then, i only heard what Kumuyi asked his Church members to do with their TV sets, it's around late 90s that i got the publication and it was exactly the time when the publication was released that Kumuyi stopped his members from watching television.

What baffles me is how Kumuyi speaks evil about the group that printed that publication till today, as if he never made use of their publication!

While we react to comments on the forum we try not to be abusive. Technically the family value in out system is eroded and lost you know family is the fulcrum on which societal values are entrenched a bad family breeds a bad society while a good family breeds a good society.
