do u wonder why kidnap & ransom is not common in Europe & America, I don't mean abduction ?

1. Technology - makes it difficult to hide anything
2. State police- u are known to the prowl officer, no stranger comes to town or hides/camp in a bush without been checked out
3. weapons- kidnappers and abductors only pick on unarmed persons, armed ppl don't make easy target.
