This was the real reason why the govt made unimaginable efforts to remove Saraki. My prayer is that those who keep on supporting this rape of our country will find no way to escape Nigeria. May all their efforts to leave for better countries fail and may they and their children grow old, stuck here to partake of the fruits of their doings |

Macphenson: The loans are to finance Islamization and Fulanization of Nigeria. To lead this NASS, Buhari carefully chose Islamic faithfuls, including Gbajamila, a half Moslem half Ogun worshipper. Buhari is building gas pipeline from the Nigerdelta to Arabia North Africa with three huge gas plants in northern Nigeria. Roads and railway included from northern Nigeria to Arab countries. That’s what the loans are for. These projects cannot be allowed to materialize, watch it. |

moriss33: Let us say the truth for what it is. The Ibos are the tribe in Nigeria with expansionist tendencies. They wanted to dominate others. You cannot blame the north for the counter coup after Ibos killed all their revered leaders. The Ibos would have done the same. When the coup failed, the north realized that to prevent this natural expansionist tendency they need to cut off the financial power of the SE, so they decided to create 12 states in order to remove Oil revenues from the control of Ojukwus. That’s how Rivers and Cross Rivers came to be, up till then even Lagos was part of western region. Ojukwu declared Biafra unprepared days after Gowon created states because he could not afford for the governors of cross rivers and rivers to take office. When you say bad marriage, they were the biggest beneficiaries of the marriage at that time but they were greedy!!! They wanted it all!! The trait that makes the Ibo good businessmen is the same one that makes them bad political actors. A businessman wants to grow and conquer but a politician wins by considering others. This is why the SE will always be behind politically. Remmember prior to the civil war, every region kept 50% of its resources and if not for the 1966 coup, the SE would today control 50% of Nigeria’s oil income. Now they are going cap on hand for allocation This is what is called penny wise, pound foolish!!! 4 Likes 1 Share |

The south East should get buhari to sign a deal that the region will not join in paying that debt. If other regions are being taxed 7.5% VAT, the east should be 3%. |

Buhari’s gas pipeline project from the Nigerdelta to Arabia countries and his accompanying rail and road projects to Arabia - all shall be wasted effort at last. Arewa military rulers built crude oil pipeline from the Nigerdelta to Kaduna and paid millions of dollars to Japanese construction company, Chyoda, to build Kaduna refinery. What has come of the crude oil pipeline and Kaduna refinery project today - waste. |

RTSC: Ibos “colonize” by migrating, controlling and destroying the businesses of the hosts. Getting into office and putting their people there. Are you not the ones that like to brag you own 70% of Abuja and Lagos? While diverting attention to herdsmen, you are slowly taking control in other people’s land. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Congrats321:Do you still believe in your own lies? They built world class airport? Which airports are now being renovated in Rivers, Abuja,Enugu,Kano and Lagos? If they were world class, what suddenly happened to them, just 1 yr after PDP left office that those, airports needed to be renovated again? Fasting growing economy and yet borrowing money to pay Salary? I wonder if you people, think people you talk despite the oil was at highest earning during GEJ and PDP era 2 Likes 1 Share

Smithwesson7:Are you minding the fellow? During the past 2 months shotdown, I had almost zero income, I could have taken loan of 300k from paylater, 50k, from opay, 28k from branch, 30k from quickcash etc. I was bombarded with offers as one with great credit rating. Nna, I knew my income had been reduced and hence cut me expenses, from diesel for generator to fuel for cars and eating out. Ie food delivery etc. I survived and came out debtless today. On the other hand I know lots of folks that indulged in the "free loan" money now wallowing in debt. Same applies to Nigeria, taking debt instead of tightening your belt. One thing I wonder, how would Peter Obi have handled this debt issue were he in government. Better or worse, your opinion pls. |
