That's an undeniable fact. But haven't you seen a family living happily together where the man earns N50k per month and the wife not working with 4 kids?

Hmmmm... !!!

102k in 2017, marriage is not always about too much money, ability to manage what you earn, marrying a good wife, not ones that buy every damn thing they come across, though wify works too.

How much are you earning and where as in state in Nigeria
zeenaman:
What was your monthly income when you, as a man took the bold decision of marrying her?

Does marriage really pave ways for more blessings?

I'm thinking of taking the giant step at 30, but really scared of the future.

Please share your experience so that intending husbands like me can get motivation.

Short Answer: 175k. I took a lesser-paying job afterwards so as to have more time for the new family.
After 2 kids. I proceeded to earning more qualifications and I moved up in the ladder.
Now a 7-figure salary earner.
You can take the bold step but not with the wrong person. You can alwz survive on a reasonable budget when you’re with the right partner.

'You can take the BOLD STEP but not with the WRONG PERSON'

I bless you for this

Any amount, God that said he that finds a wife obtain favour from Him has been proving himself but thats if one of the couple is doing something of their own cos both of you cannot be salary earners..God does not bless someone that works for another person, cos your blessings will definitely go to the person u work for
Where did u get that from? Don't interpret the Bible wrongly pls.

I don't think someone who earn such will be here. No disrespect though

This is a very myopic way of thinking. You need to change your mindset.

So are you saying that millionaires are not on nairaland ?

I don't think it's about the money itself, but more about you and your partner, the ability to hustle together, understand each other, cooperate towards a common goal and cut your coat according to your cloth in the meantime.

Still doesn't answer the question.
