They had so much influence, just as the Fulani had and still have in Hausa land. Cases were settled in their shrines.
Then came the civil war. Many of them who could trace their roots to Ibo land ran back. Those who could not stayed behind and we still know them, they could be found mostly in Ikwerre LGA and Emuoha LGA. Not everyone believes the Bini theory. I like being objective.
