God will forgive those blaming the woman. The woman only responded to government press releases about her husband without a recourse to the family feelings. If you have read the last press release by Engr Makinde, you will agree that the went too far with the whole stuff. Makinde played dirty politics with whole issues and the deputy only went there to correct the wrong. It is just a matter of time, the people will start asking questions about his performance.

There’s a protocol I believe.
The state should have been informed rather than hearing in the media
I’m sure the presidency was informed

This woman is still having hangover from the days of her husband in power to think that everyone has must worship her.
The man called and you did not pick and you are accusing him of not caring.

She is sick by saying she does not pick calls from numbers she does not know, even God, as important as He is, picks everyone's call.
don't mind her, she claims to be a politician wife, and she doesn't have the number of the deputy governor, pride is her roblem, you claim you can't pick calls yet you read messages, in this period, you put ego aside
Re: Florence Ajimobi And Rauf Olaniyan In Exchange Of Words (video) by Prenonjebose: 6:58pm On Jun 28, 2020
In as much as most politicians don't pick strange numbers, and she would only have the deputy's number if there has been any communication between both, the fact that they did not deem it necessary to inform the state government of the death makes it wrong to accuse the govt. Sure, death is a leveller

Not a time for her to be passing the buck. Her husband shouldn't have left the state in the first place for treatment outside it if he had built a world class health facility in his 8 years..... nonsense! She's just bitter.

The Deputy governor too should have sent a message. Not everyone in that state of mind is ready to pick up calls talk less unknown numbers.

I hate it when people use that line 'we are all going to die'... didn't your husband know this when he was busy maltreating people in the state? Ot he forgot that power was transient too angry

You people are too emotional sef.
That was high delegation enough.
Are you saying today that if Jonathan should die today, I pray not, Buhari must compulsory be there? Assuming Osibanjo is trying to contact the family, they would say that his number is a strange number.

if buhari does not go, will you people not abuse him? Let's put politics aside, it's humanity we are talking about here. The state govt played unnecessary politics, even the media release they made about the burial was unnecessary. Makinde would have shamed his critics easily by showing up as a governor who can go anywhere within his state
Re: Florence Ajimobi And Rauf Olaniyan In Exchange Of Words (video) by EmmaOgbu(m): 6:59pm On Jun 28, 2020
So because you are a politicians wife, you can't pick calls from people you don't have their contacts in your phone....

That means to reach our leaders, you have to make it in life. How do we now contact them if we need their assistance?

So long as she's surrounded by her loved ones, others' messages of condolences or lack thereof ought to be inconsequential.

Life is indeed ephemeral and one day, we will all cease to exist. Always live like every minute is the last because we don't know which minute will be the last. Rest on Ajimobi.

If one is able to rewind d hand of clock maybe just maybe Ajimobi should not have demolished dat studio, he might have handled d LAUTECH University students demonstration better without reminding them he is d constituted authority. All these are now history but will those still alive and on d path of such likely end learn?. Life is just ephemeral and law of karma has no intention of having an expiring date yet.

The family that were in Lagos till early this morning. Oyo State Govt should have been chasing them about. Nounsence

we are humans first before politics and in yoruba land even when an enemy dies, there is a code of conduct we imbibe, Makinde placed politics ahead and posterity will judge him. Oyo state people have overacted to Ajumobi during and after his death, I only wish them well and pray they continue to have better leaders.

there is so much bitterness btw the governor and the late former governor. I think Makinde can play more maturity by visiting the family of the bereaved. ajumobi is gone so what is still the fight all about. The woman is just being a woman and that's how women are. Anyone expecting her to act like a man does not understand a woman

Me sef wonder o. Apologize for what exactly?

Plus the man actually apologised after stating clearly that he called.

True but Makinde’s govt also said they we’re not formally informed of the former governor’s illness or his death.
There is obvious lack of communication between both parties

What are you talking about? Were you formerly informed about his death? Their is nothing like former information in death, it announces itself.

Makinde may not go again because the woman has shown to be emotional.
For God's sake, it is just four days after the death of the man.
The woman wanted to play greed by trying to blackmailing the state government to release ill-gotten Agodi GRA property to her despite the fact the the property is still subject of litigation.
Who knows may be, the governor was trying to go there latter in the day.
For your information, Governor Ganduje is an in-law to Ajimobis, he was just there today.
The fact remains that the woman just came into the state this morning when she accompanied the body of the ex-governor.

Good for all the politicians

The Governor still has time to make amends by doing a condolence visit to a home of a former Governor who happens to be his predecessor. Am sure some wise elders will give him wise counsel soon except he is too stubborn. Humanity comes first, there is no blackmail here.

That is if he will be welcome in good fate. Alot of things happened underground that are not opened to the public. Ajimobi burial was delayed to score some cheap blackmailing.
I don't think that five days or even a week is too far for commiserating visit.
Imagine, the State Deputy Governor came for visit on the day (today) that she returned back to state.
Why the state government running after looking for her?
Even, the in-laws (include Governor Ganduje of Kano State) and politicians are just coming today.
