Newbie123: Please do I still need to go through the P2P hassle after conversion or I can withdraw directly to my bank account?
For withdrawal options, is it same as the Deposit.... Withdraw...Transfer option?
I tried to upload a picture but it's not responding.
Thanks 5Gee for this insight. I was really worried
Straight to bank. After someone shared his poor p2p experience in the UK, I now use bank transfer method when converting to pounds. Withdraw to card fee is now 1.8%.
mintyx: Thanks man. This is exactly what I'm looking for.
Please outside the monthly payments, ("slightly less than £20" is there any other amount AiG required you to pay?
This will be my last question to you I promise!
No. if you look well, you might get £100 Amazon voucher after 6 months. Mine did not pay me and I did not follow up. Check moneysupermarket for qoutes.
mintyx: Do you need to have a house and a car before you can get life insurance?
He probably misread your question. Life insurance is good. The trust, I believe, helps you to avoid inheritance and also with the disbursement of the claims upon your death. Using a trust is a wise decision. I use AIG but may change my policy. What I have at the moment will end when I am 65 but I want one that will last a life time. I pay slightly less than £20 per month.
Failure44: What kind of man earns so much money every month but finishes it in the first week. Even to pay my school fees and buy textbook is an issue
At my young age am forced to collect loans to keep myself a float. At just 19 am owing debt, I pity this man when I graduate, I'll show him pepper like mikel showed to his father.
At 19 you are a man and ideally, he does not owe you anything again. He can also choose to spend his money as he likes. This may be the best time for you to get a job and save for the future. Do not envy the wicked.
Newbie123: Wow. Now I'm scared. Lol. Thanks for the headsup
If you use Binance, you can convert the USDT to GBP and then withdraw to your bank account. Fee is £1 for bank transfer and 1.5% if withdrawing to your bank card. You first need a UK bank account, preferably the challenger banks. I use Revolut.
Newbie123: Please any help from our ogas in the house please?
I tend to use sellers with verified accounts or very high completion rate (>98%) and high volume (>1000 completed deals). And I only do bank transfer. Avoid sellers outside UK.
Viruses: Option 1: Call their customer care number (it's in their website), they will tell you what to do. When I was doing mine, anytime I call them, they pick and talked to me nicely.
Option 2: Something in the line of Dear ... Kindly book me for TB test for the purpose of visa application to UK. My details are: Full name: Passport number: Destination country: DoB/Age:
Regards.
Wait for at least 3 working days for their response.
Option 3: go to their office in the morning (plan to stay outside till evening), the security men will tell you to go and send email, but sometimes a rep comes outside to attend to people. The rep will ask if you have sent email and has not gotten response for at least 3 days, if your answer is yes, she will take your email and promise to book you for the next available date.
mimilyrics: See below: I've used the 1st one in the past but not sure if they will be able to handle your cargo but you can always ask them. I haven't used the 2nd one. It is a random picture from when I walked the streets of Peckham couple of months ago.
Some1 said he has tried for weeks and couldn't gey appointment and asked for help.
He replied dat d peraon should send PM.
Were you expecting him to say No i cant help you, go and continue looking for appointment date?
We will be the first to shout We Rise By Lifting Others
We will be the first to point out how Indians help themselves no matter what
I don't understand how you wanted him to handle this situation.
By the way my friend paid 30k for next day appointment after coming all the way from Ilorin and spent 3days on the queue yet got nothing, missing work, spending on hotel bookings.
I av referred 2pple, but as e be now.
I no wan be part of corruption we all want to fight.
Make anybody wey need date, keep searching
Really we encourage the delays by paying people. Imagine if no one paid anyone. Also my mum went trhough the process recently and did everything online. Got the passport within 3 days. The guys there only grumbled because she did it online. If you need it urgently, consider other states where demand is lower or better still plan well ahead. Why will someone leave Ilorin for Lagos to process their passport? I would have thought the waiting period in Ilorin will be shorter.
Lexusgs430: I don't know any 9ja logistics company, hulling things to Nigeria............
No wahala, thank you.
But how come you know so many things about this obodo UK? Na for your mouth I first hear you dey advise person to open account with Coutts . That was my first time of hearing that a bank like that existed in the UK. Thankfully now you have moved to more "modern" banks like Chase and Revolut, perhaps due to cost of living crisis
Ezra Le Mon Ezra.LeMon@JohnCharcol.co.uk 020 3334 9967
Those are the 2 I use. Ed is free but Ezra charges a fee. Ezra deals with my more complicated mortgages and being a 2nd generation immigrant, he's is more on the ball dealing with visas, multiple streams of income from different countries etc.
Thanks, I need to read up on that. Got contacted by a recruiter and I said I was security cleared when I only have DBS . My employer was going to do security clearance for me so I could work on a project and what I got was DBS hence my question.
Lexusgs430: And remember when you get your DBS, register for DBS update service......... Or else, it's £50.00 for each re - check (unless agencies or employer is willing to pay), in rear cases .........
It's £13.00 yearly subscription .......
Is DBS same as security clearance? Are you considered "security cleared" if you have a valid DBS?
kulzinnyjo: OK thank you for replying. I understand, yes UK is kinda going down but they are hiding it and people can't really see it. You are right, why allow the UK govt take from you so much with little in return, and making the public pay for thier bad actions. I have an offer for a job back in Africa and might finally decide to take it and leave and spready wings and windows of opportunities. Same with you, Although successful, I wasn't really fulfilled here and need to make a positive change fast now I'm young. Freedom is here for you and us, lol. Best wishes and God bless you
Thank you. Finally someone that understands my situation. Usually when I express this view, I get attacked even though it is my own personal preference. I wish you the best and hopefully we will meet in one African country.
lawali: @5gee, congratulations and wish you success in your new adventures.
Life na stages sha Many are having sleepless nights at TLS centers for biometric and another new citizen of same country wan jump border.
Las las everybody go dey ok o.
No be small thing. I never thought I will stay this long here but life happens. Everyone should do what's right for thier situation. If I could turn back the hand of time, I wouldn't have left when I did but God has been good to me.
kulzinnyjo: That's awesome. Congrats @5gee but why do you say pay of all our debts and why do you want to leave?! Is UK in a big economic crisis that makes you want to leave so badly. Please kindly share. I'm considering leaving the UK too. Thank you
All the money borrowed to fund the corona virus interventions plus the ones stolen by people will have to be paid back, starting in April. I don't want to contribute too much to what I did not benefit or only benefitted little from. I want to leave for several reasons. I haven't really felt at home here and ideally I will like to return back home. Also, I like to travel and work in different countries, this will make it easier for me to achieve.
fatima04: Congratulations, now the race is over. Let's celebrate. Meanwhile I thought one needs to have ILR for 12monhs before you can apply for citizenship
Thanks. My spouse is a British citizen so no need to wait 12 months after ILR.
5gee: I got my ILR. 10 year route 1 year - Student visa 5 years + tier 2 4 years Spousal/partner Hopefully I will get my passport in January. Then I can start applying for jobs abroad. I did not apply for my ILR on tier 2 because I was naive. I was at risk of redundancy with barely 2 months to my ILR and the company wouldn't give me a letter without stating that I was at risk. I didn't feel comfortable applying with that on the letter so I canceled my appointment and when I failed to get another sponsor and not enough time to find a decent job in Nigeria, I applied for a spousal visa which reset my timeline. In hindsight, I should have applied and I would have been granted it, saving me thousands of pounds in application fees and NHS surcharge. More painful is the fact that I had considered moving back home in the earlier years but got to the point where going back without at least ILR was not logical. Hopefully I find a good role back home or somewhere near , Amen.
Citizenship granted. I now have the freedom to explore opportunities outside the UK while you all pay off our debts
aragbaboy: Hello, can someone suggest a cheaper mobile network or app for calling Nigeria. The charges from lebara and lycamobile are quite expensive for me. Thanks.
Seun, lalasticlala, it is obvious that the women are not sisters but married the same man. Linda's post on instagram did not state that they are sisters but your copy and paste blogger did. Please correct the headline.
JoyReportsOnlin: The angry guy quickly asked for an instant return of all items he had previously bought for her especially the expensive chain he bought for the girl which she was presently putting on.
When will Nigerian menboys realise that a gift, once given, ceases to belong to the giver? If i were the girl, I will not return it as they are mine now and if he forcibly takes it, it'd sue him for robery.
