Agriculture / Re: Agricultural Transformation, Enugu Begins Export Of Pineapples. by 5thNOTE: 2:59pm On Sep 11, 2014
Edo state has more potential in the production of pinaepple and other products that he mentioned. But the Edo state govt would nt heed to that suggestion, all agric facilities in the state, wether the Ewu Bendel feed and flour mill or the pinaepple jiuce factory at Ehor are all moribund. The pineapple that go to the northern part of the nation are mostly frm Edo. Since the first tenure when he pitched 3 to 4 classroom in most secondary schools in the state he has refused to be concerned about any other thing in the state. He needs to be prosecuted for massive looting
Education / Re: Kwankwaso To Build Another School In Niger Republic by 5thNOTE: 3:22pm On Sep 09, 2014
Orunto: Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State is preparing fresh ingredients for future political instability. Bi lateral agreements that involve moving physical facilities are usually between nations. Building schools with Nigerian money in Niger Republic and across the nation's boundary should be the responsibility of the Federal Government. When you allow these Northern Governors to be patronising Arab nations without involving Federal Government, you are giving chance to chaos and unstableness in the nation. Rabiu should told to either retrace his steps or hand over what he has done so far to the Federal Government to handle.
this is really extremely wrong, a state govt cant be involved in such bilateral projects, it goes too far to build projects in another country. If the kano govt wants to secede kano state to the niger republic he should simply say so. This full fledge insurbodination and treason to the loyalty of country. Dose the state no longer has it limits towards the Federal govt?

theSlayer: the title of the thread should be " United states to spend 58 million dollars for fight against Ebola" you guys are fvcking annoying and ignorant .
that's why i don't like helping people .
i have never seen a thread on niaraland where nigerians are humble, they are huaghty, spew rubbish to others for their own faliure and accuse others of their misfortune. The ardvent of oil seems a curse to us rather that of a blessing becus we all knw buying, commanding and nolnchanlcy. There have been flius in Japan, China and other countries which were said to be deadlier than sars but were curtailed by these countries. But if it were nigeria, it would be pointing finger and shifting blame.

what do you want with us again?
Who told u they sold themselves, when they where tributries of the ancient Benin Kingdom time of no records then they were sold, meanwhile no main Benin or Edo ppl were sold as slaves. The Oba of Benin could trade the subjects(yorubas) at the edges of his kingdom to slave traders and 4 ur info there were only representative chiefs of the yorubas. Infact thats why yorubas could spread mightly becuse they hate burden or lording and had no king and even if they tried to have a kingdom, it was always subject and obedient to the Benin kingdom.

Islamic sympathiser, and they will still slit ur throat, becus it is religion is for personal gain and section agrandizment or agenda. Keep on believing that Islam is good, all muslims are there 4 propraganda and aim. U didt nt see my request 4 equity to the south, that attention to roaming children by one stupid and daft ideology- religion, should also be shown to the south, with just cause-(poverty, neglect) that those children should be equally taken care of. If we are having alimajiri schools in the north, we should also have howkers, abandon and traffic children rehabilitation schools in the south only! I ask a farmer in my state wether they get fertilizers or any reimbursment from D FG, or handset, they said no. Any bank given the subsidize loan - no! Then u are quick to defend them. The northerns have never defended themselves, no, its freaks like u that do so.
Sports / Re: Opinion: Africa Should Boycott The Next World Cup by 5thNOTE: 3:26pm On Jul 08, 2014
abatically: WHY AFRICA MUST IMPROVE THEIR FOOTBALL INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING AND LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO BLAME

You guys are quick to blame FIFA for Africa's failure, but fail to tackle the main reason Africa can't win the world cup. The number one reason why we can't win the world cup yet is INDISCIPLINE.

Of the five African teams which qualified to play in the World Cup, three were involved in pay scandals. Players from Cameroon got their protest in before the tournament had even started. They refused to board a plane to Brazil following an argument over money, delaying their arrival by almost a day. Next, Ghana made a laughing stock of itself when it flew $3m in cash to Brazil to avert a match boycott by players demanding their appearance fees. Finally, Nigeria’s Super Eagles cancelled a training session ahead of the crucial knockout round in protest over bonus payments. Presidential intervention was required to settle that argument.

It got worse from there. Ghana’s team fell apart only hours after its cash arrived. Two of its players were sent home, one for an alleged “unprovoked physical attack” on a Football Association (FA) official, and one for reportedly swearing at his coach. Then there were the match-fixing allegations. Cameroon’s football federation says it is investigating claims that seven “bad apples” on its team were involved in fixing the results of games.

Just take a look at this.

Now u talk about FIFA favoring other countries?

A lot of decisions went Africa's way but I will only list a few.

1. Mexico vs Cameroun: Giovani Dos Santos scored 2 legitimate goals that were wrongly ruled out for offside. If that was against an African country it would have been a case study by now. But Mexico moved on, while Africans are still complaining.

2. Mexico vs Cameroun: Giovani Dos Santo's stone wall penalty that wasn't given. Again if that was against an African country we all would be crying by now and blaming FIFA.

3. Mexico vs Cameroun: Alex Song's 2 footed tackle on Dos Santos. Definite red card offence, he didn't even go for the ball. But guess what, he didn't get red. In the match report it stated that Song was lucky not to see red, but if that happened to an African player we all will be saying racism, fifa hates us, bla bla bla just like the case of Matuidi who was lucky not to see red just like Song, but Nigerians always look for someone to blame, so we blame FIFA.

4. Nigeria vs Bosnia: Edin Dzeko's legitimate goal that was ruled out for offside. Now nobody talks about this anymore, but u guys forgot if this goal had stood, we probably wouldn't have made it into the second round. If that was a Nigerian goal, I'm sure hundreds of threads would have been opened describing how FIFA didn't want us to get into the second round.

You talk about Matuidi's tackle on Onazi?
Yes its a bad tackle, but this thing happens in football. Onazi is not the first player to suffer a bad tackle in the world cup, so why the whinning? Again simple tactic by the French coach. Take out Onazi and Matuidi did this

Now ask an African player to take out a player and he did this

The difference between the 2? One went for the ball and missed, 50/50 situation depending on how the ref sees it. The other took out the player blatantly without the ball which leaves the ref with no option than give a red card.

Until we sort out our discipline problems and improve our academies, stop age cheating.. we will never win the world cup. Africa lack real talents when it comes to the big stage. We thrive in youth tournaments because we use over aged players. When it is time for these players to get into the national team, they would be too old and past their best and that is why we Bleep up at the highest level.
are there still ppl like u? GOD BLESS U AND UR GENERATION. Africa especially nigeria wont copy the principle of success but use corrupt, daft, and proud and haughty spirit to win. Imagine upon nigerians distaste for our government and country state, yet the stupid govt still dragged for largest economy in africa. Without change of roads, no regulation to prices of commodity, no development, no good housing nor city planning, nothing new is there.

A place where some tribes are more Nigerian than the other in terms of privileges not founded on merits.. And we say we want to grow as a nation. How does retrogressive policies in education like this one encourage growth embarassed
who knows how many boarding schools are there in D North than in the south. To the extent that they could build one on inhabitable place called Chibok for kindnappers use, when there are hardly boarding schools in the south. All the equal amount 4 Almajiri schools, stupid religion disallowed girls education should also be done in the south, 4 boy who learn trade le or howkers who are inbetween roads and girls sent at early age to market or sent to Italy or trafficed 4 sex.
