Any guy of marrying age has a list of qualities that a prospective woman must satisfy in order to be considered wife material. You have to understand that we live in modern times. Part of trying to get to know someone nowadays is knowing their online activities, most things are done online now, businesses, dating, prostitution, etc, don’t underestimate what ppl are capable of with their smartphones, it’s why I consider tracking phones as getting to know who someone is.. “Getting to know someone” which you also defined as vetting, either you’re already committed to them or you’re not, it’s not too much to do just to know them..
