The woman's story of her husband abandoning her because of her blue eyes after birthing children doesn't add up. The man's explanation of leaving his family wasn't detailed.

My take on this; This situation was probably thought out and planned by both of them to bring about a change in their lives and fortune.

I congratulate them for their creativity and ingenuity.

According to the OP, the wife ASKED to be reunited with her husband.

If she was totally innocent, now would have been a good opportunity to walk out of the marriage forever.

I must admit I erroneously supported the woman even when the man's version came out.

I still stand by my previous opinion that the man did not do well abandoning his kids when it was clear the wife could not cater for them.

Most times, when an abused woman returns, she gets a period of grace and after a while the abuse begins. That neglect and abandonment, is the man willing to be more involved in his wife and children's life? Else that reconciliation is a sham.

What she just did is what we ask first ladirs to do, pure and simple. When matters happen in grassorrot the gov cannot be everywjere particularly in matters of domestic issues. First ladies are like our matriarch for the whole state and they should intervene.

If that is so why do rich unmarried /divorced /separated women still receive shame and mockery? Sympathy is not enough to erase stigma. I say it as a person who knows first hand how stigma feels. People can pity you all they want but it won't stop them from stigmatising you.
I'm a 100% sure that as usual, she went back to him because of the kids.

Alright. Good points. So what would you suggest the man do if he decides he can’t stay with the mom anymore? Take the kids away from their mother? Would that go without protest from the woman herself & her family? Or he should tolerate infidelity so that people around will say he’s a good man.
According to him, he had been taking care of them, but it wasn’t considered enough. Even with the separation, he visited them every week (sometimes daily) with food. He always sent them clothes and he’d give them a bit extra if they need to buy medication

You can chose not to believe him. I know it’s only what the woman says that concerns you. But her own account as to why he left her was pure cap in the first place. This to me, is just a case of painting her husband bad to gain sympathy from other people. And she has done that well.
