Gate's father has since retired and now works in the philanthropic business with his son.

This is so cliche. The same story that has been passed around for decades. This is the same way folks like you will think Jeff Bezos started from a bookshop without knowing what kind of family Jeff came from and the amount of money he was even given in the first place to start Amazon.
