The only mistake from the presentation was the fact that she claimed being a Deltan (Agbors to be precise), aside the dressing every other thing depicts Igbo.

If they chose not to be Igbo,how is that a problem please ? You can't force people to accept what they don't want. As a Yoruba man,I have come across so many itshekiri guys who openly identified with the Yoruba's culture and acknowledged their Yoruba's root and heritage. And also, I have met so many others who do not want to have anything to do with the Yoruba. For me,this is not any problem.

The fact is that people have the right to chose what they want to be and what they want to be identified with. So if an Ikwere man whose name is Uche or an Itshekiri man whose name is Omatshola (Omoshola) does not want to identity with Igbo or Yoruba respectively, I don't see it any problem 'cause it is not.

What I see as a problem is somebody from Arochukwu calling my ancestral land "a no man's land" because of his stupid obsession with my land! Only bastards point to their father's house with left hands !

I felt she is playing the usual parasitic attachment to Igbo tag the confused Igbo speaking but Bini claiming tribes in SS (Rivers And Delta state) do whenever they need to benefit from Igbo population.


But she appears genuine , grew up outside Agbor and probably untainted by the senseless Igbophobic mindsets prevalent from those parts.

If you raise an Agbor girl or boy outside Agbor land, and don't corrupt him/her with the " we are Bini people, Igbos are dubious people" mindset the normal Ika parents corrupt their children mindsets with from childhood to adulthood, the Agbor girl or boy will probably grow up realizing he/she is same with Ndiigbo and embracing Igbos.

Some people from Agbor/Ika were pissed at her because they were not happy that she was identifying as Igbo instead of just Ika or specifically Agbor. I think everyone has the right to identify how they deem fit. They were even more concerned that she referred to herself as Igbo than the fact that she said that banga is her native food.

Well Bini are revisionist. They behave like that igala man abdullahi, if they see anything that resembles oba cap on your head, automatically you are Bini.
