For me, I think the club management has right to be pissed because the pay messi to play and win matches . He didn't meet his own end of the deal.

3. If it's CR7 that acted this way, his criticism ll v topped all major newspapers worldwide.

Come on, this guy is being paid close to £1 Million. Not like he was playing for free. He was simply giving them value for the huge money he is being paid. This is business, rules of engagements must be followed or else Messi will set a bad precedent for future stars, who might think they are so big to work out on any agreement when they so want.

Business is not done out of mere feelings, it is done based on agreements and contracts. simple.
beside if you go by that sentiments, Barcelona made Messi what he is today. They welcomed him when everybody rejected him and never believed in him, even with his disability, treated him and put him in the world stage with the squad they assembled around him. If he were in Brighton he wouldn't be this great Messi.

Messi is the ungrateful one. Barcelona was there for him when he needed them the most, now that they need him the most to build a new team around him, he should be there for them too to reciprocate.

They should just let him go. His spirit has already left. If they force him to stay, he will certainly not give his best. The way the club is going, they might be heading for relegation next season.

Keeping him against his wish does Barca more harm.

Messi has officially informed Barca via burofax that he wishes to exercise a clause which enables him to walk away for free at the end of a season, though Barca rigidly state that a deadline to do so has long since passed.
