That's why I like reading any form of receipt especially if I have to write on it. We are our own problem in this country, after we'd blame our leaders... May God help us. Op now you're wiser than before. |

RPirez: don't let's look at it from that perspective cos we all, I mean all the tribes had in one way or the other through our selfish and corrupt leaders contributed to this whole nightmare. likewise as individuals we have greatly contributed our own fair share to the woes. but I strongly understand your point on the okoros particularly their unwillingness to cooperate with the rest of the nation in the bid to move the nation forward. 1 Like 1 Share |

It would be nice if an investigative journalist goes to Alaba and have this racketeering exposed on platforms such as BBC Africa Eye. I would love to do this myself pro-bono. I'm willing to stake like 50k to expose these mofos. I know I can always get back my 50k by employing the services of the police or the NCDC. Disguise as a seller and catch every nonsense on camera, including the task force activities, the negative and positive arbitrations they do. I have the gadgets including camera shirt buttons, camera pen, camera wrist watch and the usual mobile phone audio recordings to catch every detail. But I don't have the luxury of time. The same guys that exposed that UNILAG sex for marks lecturers. 5 Likes |

This should not be a laughing matter but Nigerian police should take these complaints serious as a lot of people has been defrauded by these so called Alaba international market guys.Exactly the same thing that happened to this guy happened to someone I sent to buy TV for me.The seller refused the money being transferred to his account.By the time my friend went to the ATM to get the cash,on his return and after payment, not suspecting anything, that was the time he noticed that they have swapped the TV with a monitor with a cracked screen. In fact they fought him and in order not to loose out,I asked him to bring the monitor which is nothing more than a scrap. The management of this fraudulent market knows that all these kind of thing happens but nothing has been done as people keep complaining everyday. They claim that they have a task-force that handles this kind of cases but they all work hand in hand. That is why most times you visit the market, you will surely see one useless shop locked with an obituary poster(Age 40-45).They end up miserable and shall never go unpunished.A lot of people now avoid the market because of all these nonsense. There is no justification to defrauding people as fraud is fraud. If you cant sell your useless wares at a particular price, better say than defrauding people. The most annoying thing is that these guys have shops and not even a road side transaction(like the one they do in computer village Ikeja) and they operate as a cartel. The Heavenly God and that una god shall surely punish all those fraudsters at ALABA INTERNATIONAL MARKET.It is also a shame, disgrace and a thing gross incompetence on the side of the market union president that the market that is under him is full of criminals and not traders.Shame and woe unto you all. |
