Ken4Christ: Bros, do you know the truth more than Jesus Christ? Bros, have you forgotten your FALSE claim that God has not revealed Adam's destiny? Whereas, Genesis 3:19, Psalms 90:3 and Romans 6:23 is in your Bible Bros, Luke 17:28-30 & 2 Thess1:7-9, Jesus Christ already told you hellfire is a product of your misguided imagination. JWs stand with Jesus Christ. Luke 17:28-30 ,2 Thess 1:7-9. Jude 1:7 Jesus says "Evildoers will be DESTROYED on that day Jesus is revealed" Bros, Go and quarrel with Jesus Christ for his support for JWs. After all, Jesus himself is a JW. Acts 3:13. Isaiah 42:10-12. John 20:17. 1 Cor 3:23. Rev 3:5,12. Did Jesus Christ tell you that Sodom and Gomorrah were tortured and tormented forever? Did Jesus ever tell you Evildoers were tortured and tormented forever in Gehenna? In simple terms, Jesus Christ is saying eternal destruction that occurred to Sodom will occur again to this present wicked world when Jesus is revealed> 2Thess1:7-9. Therefore, according to Jesus Christ, the basis for your claim is very faulty. Sodom & Gomorrah destruction was eternal or forever (just as Jesus sacrifice is eternal. That is, once & for all. Do you understand?) . JWs are in your neighborhood or work place. Ask them for a Bible study.. Shalom. 1 Like |

Those who got a second chance came to tell us what they experienced and we still don't believe. Well, you will believe when you get there. |

Ken4Christ: My guy that's what is called comedy extravaganza! Those people were either paid by the organizers of the showbiz you're calling Pastors, to keep you in this illusion, or they dreamt of the nightmares those Pastors infused in their brains! If you're wise, you will know that even the pastors themselves often tell you that it's after death that you will be judged, and if you're talking about hell the Bible says people will be resurrected first before that judgment {Revelations 20:13} so where did you get this understanding of people been in hell suffering torment when the judgment day has not come? Do you now see how this comedy is making you a clown? |

rottennaija: Is that what amount to the hatred? Cos' you thought a non-profit organization is a business empire ? In a business, no one would want to lose a customer... goes the saying 'Costumers are always right' But, in Jehovah's organization, The Bible (God's word) is the measure of uprightness. You either agree with the beneficial truth or you use the door. This is of course, in your effort trying to create a justification for leaving Jehovah's organization. But, you'll be fine. MaxInDHouse: The story of the Rich man and Lazarus confirms it. But you call it a parable because of your unbelief. Even Jonah cried for help out of hell. Jonah 2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; OUT OF THE BELLY OF HELL cried I, and thou heardest my voice. So, Jonah was acting comedy. |

That's why God's word said those who are in the sea (probably eaten by fish like Jonah) will come out. Ken4Christ: what then is the significance of the resurrection? Eccl 9:5- the living are conscious that they will die; ,but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. “Indeed, without an illustration he[Jesus] would not speak to them”—Matthew 13:34 This was one of the features of Jesus' earthly ministry. He always spoke to the crowds listening to him using “illustrations” or “parables” to in order to know what lay in the hearts of his listeners and also to fulfill the words prophesied by Asaph and Isaiah.(Psalm 78:2, Isaiah 6:9-10) It was only his close disciples and those who wanted to know more that Jesus explained and revealed the explanations of the parables. (Matthew 13:10-11, Mark 4:34) But on this occasion in Luke 16, the verse 14 says that “the Pharisees...were listening to all these things”. And we earlier noted that Jesus always spoke in parables to those who were not his disciples. So it's of importance to ask oneself if the story of the rich man and Lazarus was a parable or whether the Pharisees somehow became Jesus' disciples. 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: I'm saying the Watchtower Organization is the same as all these religious organisations that are after money, time and energy of their supporters and faithful. Watchtower is worse, others at least give back to their members, especially the less privilege. They give money, send them to school, sponsor scholarships, charities etc. Watchtower is about money, taking, taking, taking. They sell what they could, even forcefully taking kingdom halls that were built with Labour, money and sweat of local JWs. They take it and disfellowship any that says they could not. They run assembly and conventions which are perpetually at deficit. Circuit account aren't balanced, are always at a losses and publishers are told to contribute more despite all they contribute. They are always at a loss, because all they money suffer capital flight (sent oversees). |

rottennaija: So who exactly is making use of the contributions apart from the expenses of the worldwide group? My guy, you can go through the history of God's people from the beginning till now, there has never been a time God's people leave the things they're supposed to work on and start taking care of the needy. That's the obligation of each individual in your locality not that of God's Organization as a body! Act 6:2 Taking care of the needy amongst God's people is not the obligation of the organization as a whole but individuals depending on how much you can offer. God's people made that mistake in the first century and learnt a bitter from it {Act 4:32-5:11} ever since then we don't leave the word of God and start thinking of the needy. Jesus said each one of us should do whatever he could within his capability to help the needy. Mark 14:7 So this is Jehovah's Organization, we already have the heritage, it's all documented in the Bible, what you're suggesting is not the duty of God's Organization as a body! 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: But real estate business is? Investment in milliary hardware company is? Investment in tobacco company is? Of course, you have ignored everything 3lse I said and focus on taking care of the needy and poor among you. But who sold JWs the dummy that needy and poor is not the responsibility of the organisation to take care of but individuals? Wait.... Watchtower and its governing body because they are not doing it. While you are at it, you conviniently left out James 1:27. What does it say? James 1:27 Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us. Also, let's see how you skirt about the importance aspect of taking care of the needy. While at Act 4:32-5:11, did you see that the those who contributed did so through the apostles and the apostle in turn distributed those provisions to all. (see v34-35) Did you not read the chain of event? It's like the church members contributing to the church and from there, they distributed to all involved. Now pay attention to Acts 6...
The apostles focused on the teaching and preaching. But they chose men who had the responsibility (business) of distribution of the charity program. How much more centralised administration can you get than that? Of course, your skirt around the details of the verse to lead the reads to a wrong conclusion. (not me. Not again) Mr 14:7 has not bearing in the matter. The poor and needy will always be there. That why God expects all to take care of them, especially true of those who control billions of dollars in the name of religion organisations. Taking care of the poor and needy can be done at both the organisation level and the individual levels. That's abandoned their responsibility is the reason for misapplied scriptures to support 5heir actions. After all, the organisation is worth billions or dollars, one the richest religious organisations in history so that they hide their money in tax heaven countries like the cayman island. |

rottennaija:That says a lot about you my guy, you're not observant at all. Even my signature is still there "Maximus's side" So what have you been thinking? Well James 1:27 was talking to each individual in the Christian congregation, not the duty of the group as a body! Note how Jesus applied this @ Matthew 14:14-22, he asked his disciples to provide food for the multitude! But how are they going to do this? Jesus taught them a lesson! He did not bring out money, nor bread but asked them to contribute what they had, blessed it and miraculously multiply it to satisfy all the people. Lesson learnt, the Christians will continue to take care of the less privileged amongst them, but that's not his own duty. So Jesus' brothers aren't sent to come taking care of the needy my guy, that's the duty of capable members of each local congregation. There duty is to oversee the preaching and teaching program globally! The case of Ananiah and Sapphira led to the abolition of what the first century Christians were doing back then. For your information, they were trying to eradicate poverty in their midst, instead of focusing on the preaching and teaching of God's Kingdom! If anyone who joins the Christian congregation is made rich or average, who will not join them? 1 Like 1 Share |
