Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 6:4 for his audience, the name Jesus mentioned was JEHOVAH as written in the Old Testament!
But translators of the version you're using are Trinitarians so they can't understand why Jesus should mention that name that's why they decided to replace the divine name with the title "LORD" in all the places it appears.

JEHOVAH is most high God so his PURPOSE is always for the benefit of his earthly children {Isaiah 48:17-18} if what he set up is just to form another sacred service that's of no practical benefits to his children how is he going to prove that he is the one and only true God?
So God's purpose for setting up Christianity isn't just to establish another religion because there are thousands of religions already before Jesus came to the earth. In Judea alone there were about five different rival sects contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines was the order of the day all in the name of JEHOVAH the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Please such doesn't bring glory and honor to the true God but reproach on his holy name! Matthew 6:9

The purpose of Christianity!

The worshipers must recognize God as the single heavenly Father of all races nepotism or racism shouldn't be mentioned amongst them!
They must believe in his form of rulership so it's what he laid down as standards that will be their laws and each one must be ready to reproof one another when any goes contrary to laid down rules!
They mustn't be selfish or greedy thinking of how to accumulate material possessions when they don't know if they will live to see tomorrow!
They must be ready to forgive and forget the wrongdoings of their fellow believer if they want to enter God's Kingdom because it's forgiveness that's to be applied on all Adam's descendants otherwise we are all sinners and death is what we deserve!
They must recognize one single enemy (Satan) so whenever anyone offends them they should be ready to PRAY for the one who hurt them because Satan is the one behind all evil thought not our fellowman! Matthew 6:9-15

That's the purpose of Christianity, to unite people of all nations under one umbrella {Isaiah 2:1-4} this can't be possible when there is diversity in line of thought {John 17:20-23} Satan doesn't want it to work that's why he's ever busy establishing more sects all in the name of Jesus and the veil he's using to blur their senses is called "DENOMINATIONS". There is nothing as such in Christianity! Jesus knew this from the onset but allowed Satan so that during the end time individuals with pure hearts will be gathered into one fold against Satan's mob! Matthew 13:24-30

Throughout the world every religion always talk about doing good to one's neighbour but when it comes to reality it's the other way round.
That's the reason why Christianity was established to silence all other gods with their worthless religions.

God is the heavenly Father of all flesh according to Jesus, meaning we should start seeing people of all races as prospective citizens of the kingdom of our God and father, so which religion is able to remove weapons from the hands of all their adherents? Matthew 6:9 compared to 26:52

Which religion upholds the form of rulership that's binding on all members globally even ready to punish defaulters and people from all races humbly subjected themselves under the same rule as one global family? Matthew 6:10 compared to Matthew 7:24-27

Which religion discourages their members from the pursuit of worldly riches by never publicizing their material possessions as blessings from God but always publicizing how much they're able to do in the work of the Lord? Matthew 6:11, 25-34

Which religion has successfully bridged the gap of tribal differences and racial disputes so that their members are globally known and spoke of like "they love their members no matter where such person comes from" Matthew 6:12 compared to Matthew 12:46-49

Which religion teaches members to leave all judgment in the hands of God so that we're not tempted to take vengeance just as Satan would have wanted us to do? Matthew 6:13; 5:43-48
