He kept convincing me to tell my dad to do the transfer back.

The signs were there, my sister. But you were probably overwhelmed by the issue concerning your card.

The type of scammer that scammer are many on Facebook.

Their modus operandi is to use a name almost similar to that of your bank.

For example, GTBank Facebook name is GTBank. But there is always this scammer named "Gtbank Plc" who responds to every complaint, and asks complainants to contact them via WhatsApp.

I have problems with zenit bank last week and that same number was on their thread telling me to dm me a whatsapp message to quickly resolve the issue at hand then.

He was so professional when I chatted him, later he said it will be resolve that I should screen shot my account balance and I did, later he told me to screen shot front and back of my card. I don't know what came over me so I decided to pause for a while, next two hours I think deeply and realize this guy is a scammer. I quickly delete my chat with him and block his number for good and also delete it.

His Twitter handle was not confirm and that make it fake.

The painful part is that, the guy is currently commenting on all zenith bank complaint on Twitter

And ZENITHBANK is not doing anything? A friend notified me about this guy commenting on ZENITHBANK twitter handle and ZENITHBANK has done nothing as regards that! Na wa ooo

I almost lost my money too, this one is gtbank. But I suspected so I already moved 27k out of the account I left 800naira there. At that point when i gave him all the details he asked, he debited me of the 800naira in the account I just laughed

The scammer asked for my card details which I told him no, but he assured me that he is not a scammer. I sent it, but the card still didn’t work so I transferred my money to my dad’s account hoping to use his card, but the customer care kept disturbing me that they want to help me resolve it. I had to beg my dad to transfer back but he kept forgetting to transfer back and I was pissed!!!! I kept calling for hours till he finally did tonight and the customer care wiped off my account after I sent the OTP codes to him foolishly, thinking I was chatting with their staff!

After my account got wiped off, it was then I realized the mention on my Twitter was from a dorm account on Twitter!

I am in so much pains guys!

I have proof of the debit alert and the WhatsApp chat l had with the scammer before l was defrauded. Including all my twitter complain and messages screenshots l sent to UBA's verified twitter handle as proof. I haven't been refunded and have lost hope. Worst thing is l am deaf on both ears and there is no way to speak with there customer care representative when they contacted me.
I have screenshot proofs of any aspect of the fraud you ask for sir as proof l am not lying.

This is psychological, that time he was calling and disturbing , you should know is for his interest. you are not supposed to pick further calls, you are not supposed to give your card details to anybody.

He will take u to WhatsApp. Na there job start. Before u know ur paying for strange fees then when they clean u out u come here and start all over again. Do the right thinh always. Follow the right chanel. You never can tell shouldn't be used by a man who knows what he's doing. That's for kids and uncertain individuals. Be guided
