I don't know who you are speaking for, this is how you people spring up fire and set people against each other

naptu2:
Some activists have demanded that the Lagos State Government must not allow Lagos to be burnt down again like it was last year. They say that they will do everything possible to prevent a repeat of the riots that led to the burning down of the Lagos DNA and Forensic Centre, the historic Lagos High Court at Igbosere Road, the Nigerian Ports Authority Headquarters building, several police and fire stations and several BRT depots, including newly acquired BRT buses, etc.

Here are screenshots of some of their messages.

While I agree to some of your salient facts such as approach, we must also remember that living in the fear of these touts and criminals amongst us won't help the state either. We seem to mix things up in this part of the world. Another approach is for government to set such date aside for open talks on vices, where people can freely express their concerns from agitators and show their support in campaign against police brutality cos truth is police never change and we are just delaying day of retribution. One, they not only own the whole activities of the endsars protest by channeling angers and frustrations thru positive activities and feedback process that leads to positive collaborative results, thereby not only curbing intended violence but also jump start a re orientation process for both the people and police.

Bros, Nigerian politicians live among us and understand Nigerian problems. The problem is the lack of poltiical will (zeal) to solve it. A vast majority of Nigerians are hypocrites and those who lead us are a reflection of who we truly are.

Stop this nonsense tribal comment. Most of the perpetrators of last year arsing are yoruba. Evidence are there. Please stop. It destroyed unity.
I'm a yoruba man. Born, school and live in Lagos all my life. I never support endsars protest. It will only lead to more destruction.
Falz, falana and Sowore promoting EndSars protest are all second citizen abroad. Their money are in dollar abroad. Don't allow them to destroy your Lagos. It's always easy to destroy but to build back is difficult.
oga the reason why you are saying ds is because may be u are gaing one or 2 things in lagos state, for you 2 say u are nt in support of 1year annisavery of endsars that means you are enemy of the youth in nigeria. You said falana and sowore are second citizen yes, but they are fightin 4 the cus of the citizen. But i thought u are first class citizen what av you done 4 your people?

Instead of those posters on Twitter to urge the government and security agencies to monitor the planned protests and prevent a breakdown of law and order, they're discouraging Nigerians from exercising their fundamental human rights as regards organizing/partaking in a protest.

What we should all clamor for is peaceful demonstrations, not outright ban of protests like some political elements on Twitter are doing.

Brainless people.

The protest organizers need to ensure political thugs don't hijack the protests and thwart the patriotic efforts of brave Nigerians demanding good governance, accountability from our political leaders.

Which kind of protection do u expect securities to give? I think it was the same protesters that killed and eat the flesh of many police officers and now u are saying this nonsense.
Useless protesters with no conscience, if u protest against SARS then why can't they honour the dead police officers who are fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers to many people. The police officers killed from the time of the protest to now is more than thrice the number killed by SARS, so what is the point of this idiocy?
Protest can't solve anything, better get ur PVC and vote for good people rather than descending hatred to people who are oblivious to ur distress!

The was how it was last year, some were paid by the state govt and politicians to act and discourage others, when it didn't work they sent thugs and hoodlums and painted the movement black. Still, it didn't work.

If all the demands can be met, and the dead are given justice....

They can toll afterward cos the state needs money to grow but not in the present situation when they are not listening.

Protesting is your right, but do we need it at this current fragile economy situation. Lots of people are hungry, any opportunity under the guise of protest will only result to violent, looting and destruction.
For your information, those claimed rented tugs are just as the same as all other people that took part in the looting. Check around the world, any protest that extend beyond 10days usually result to violent and looting. Check US last protest or protest in Europe.
Are those also hired thugs.
