The UK NHS uses an organ register and more than 8000 are on the waiting list. This allows living or a deceased donor to freely donate organs without even knowing the recipient. That's what they consider altruistic.

This issue made me realized that people just wanted the initial story to be true and even though more fact are emerging people are still giving life to their wish... Your version is not true. The pictures of the boy’s U.K. visa are all over the internet. Visa sticker clearly states that the boy travelled on medical ground. Ekweremadu also wrote a letter to the British high commission informing them that the boy was travelling as an organ donor. The boy had been in U.K. since January. I suspect the boy lied against the ekweremadu’s to secure asylum. Nigerians say anything to gain asylum in a first world country.
The heart of men can be so wicked that nobody is asking about the welfare of the daughter. Organ donation is not different from blood donation and is legally permitted .
