The medical updating on the online account is resulting from IRCC's delay, which has become a norm that may be experienced by applicants that submitted a requested document, upfront medicals, and/or biometrics. On some occasions, it may not change until a while or even at the time of PPR. This routine of IRCC has panicked applicants of something being wrong with their applications when nothing is.

It seems like the “further review” is delaying your application. When you submit your application, first, it goes through a completeness check, otherwise known as R10. If you pass this stage, it means you submitted a complete application and will ask to go for biometrics, if applicable. It is after this stage that eligibility, criminality, security etc. starts.

To answer your question, some people assess your application before the visa officer receives it and makes the final decision. These people, commonly known as analysts, can flag a document for further review if they cannot verify it or have other concerns. They are the ones that “recommend” pass or further review. The VO often goes with this recommendation.

So, if your application is recommended for further review, the analyst has spotted a document or a stage (eligibility, criminality, security, medical) that needs the attention of the visa officer. Although it can cause delay, it could be good; they want to ensure you are credible and approve your application.

Please order a gcms note because it is in Global Case Management System (GCMS) that the analyst leaves a note for the visa officer. In fact, it is from a GCMS that the MP was given the information. This way, you can provide further information to address the concern before a decision is made.

2 weeks is pretty early to receive an admission from a university. You will have to be patient.

I've been on form A processing for over a month now but a bank staff just told me it won't fly because it's a diploma. That they only process bachelor's and master's degrees.

When this new thread was opened on Sunday, I came here with heavy heart because my application was 8 months old and eligibility has not even started on my portal even as at today. I made the prophetic post below believing God of miracle and also responded to someone post by saying “I knees to say a Big Amen)

Today today 4th August PPR dropped without eligibility starting on the portal .

Application submitted 20th December
Biometric 26th December
Medical Passed. 4th January
PPR dropped. 4th August

The God who did mine. Would do that of everyone still waiting for PPR.




My application is already 8 months old so I’ve all the rights and faith to say this new thread is for me and that I will be sharing my goodnew of PPR arrival here this week.

So therefore, VO handing my file would immediately release the PPR and today I book my space to share it in the Name of God the father, God the Son, and God the Ghost. In Jesus Christ's name I pray�

IOM will transmit your result to IRCC within 5 - 10 business days automatically once it's ready, however, you can forward your e-medical sheet to IRCC via webform or mail.

Please how do i order gcms note and have not done my medical yet, sorry could it be cause of the medical i am yet to do that cause the further review but i doubt that cause they can always send medical request.

If there is expiring date on your admission letter and you know that your application will expired during the processing of your study permit application. Kindly contact your school admissions office and tell them to defer your admission and send letter of admission deferral so you can send it to IRCC, through webform.
