Lagos won't need to cater for those who left for their villages.

So there won't be any need to generate so much money.

Abeg, are there public street parking anywhere in Lagos? With the government defense, all parked cars in Lagos has to pay for parking(. For the parked car in the picture shown, I can’t see any sign that says no parking that should warrants being given a ticket.

The problem is not the parking lots and the benefits of implementing fees for parking. The problems has been the use of the funds to be raised, will those in power- Politicians, top government officials obey this and pay their own fees?
I still believe that the just want to squeeze the poor masses more and take from their very little income to fund their over bloated fake, extravagant and evil lifestyle.
If they have been using such funds for proper development of the country's infrastructures, provide amenities that will benefit those paying for the parking lots, no one will object or oppose such.
